Imagine thinking the government can reduce poverty.
For most readers of this website, the thought is laughable. And for good reason. The government has no resources of its own. Every dollar it spends it must first either tax, borrow, or print. Taxing and borrowing redirect money from the voluntary, productive sector of the economy to the hands of politicians. Printing new money erodes the value of currency already held by citizens, harming low-income households disproportionately, while distorting important market signals like interest rates that are vital to coordinating the economy’s complex patterns of production and exchange.
Nevertheless, the Urban Institute—a highly influential and deep-pocketed left-leaning think tank—just released a report claiming that the recently passed American Rescue Plan will reduce the poverty rate by one-third in 2021.
Major media outlets like the Washington Post and CNN wasted little time in reporting on the study’s findings.
The report’s methodologies and assumptions, however, are highly questionable and cast doubt on the legitimacy of its conclusions.
The Urban Institute’s study claims that the Rescue Plan will reduce the number of people in poverty in 2021 “by about 16 million, from over 44 million to 28 million.” This will be accomplished, according to the study, because the plan will increase “aggregate net resources” for households currently under the poverty line by $87 billion, or an average of about $3,850 per family.
The report, however, gives away the game early on. “Our analysis does not include the macroeconomic effects of the policy changes.” This is often referred to as a “static” analysis.
This admission alone should be enough to dismiss the Urban Institute’s findings. Assuming that the massive changes to the money supply, government debt, and incentives to work, spend, or save will have no effect on behavior or other “macroeconomic effects” like price inflation is wholly unrealistic.
For starters, how many households will fall back below the poverty level when price inflation pushes up the cost of living, especially the cost of common household needs like groceries, gas, and utilities?
In January, grocery prices were already up 3.7 percent year over year, the largest such increase in a decade, with beef leading the way with an 8 percent rise.
Gas prices are up more than fifty cents per gallon already this year, and are expected to surge beyond three dollars a gallon this summer. Oil prices are up more than 20 percent this year, and continue to climb.
Add in a “rescue plan” of $1.9 trillion, most (if not all) of which will be newly created fiat currency, and price increases should be expected to accelerate still further. The rescue plan will cost nearly $5,800 for every man, woman, and child in the country (more than $23,000 per family of four). Yet according to the Urban Institute’s calculations, even those households targeted for the greatest amount of relief will receive on average $3,850 per family.
Basic math indicates that low-income households will struggle to keep pace with the rising cost of living, even with the financial relief.
More specifically, the Urban Institute attempts to evaluate the impact of four specific measures contained in the rescue plan.
Unemployment Benefits
The plan will add another twenty-five weeks of federal benefits, along with an additional $300 a week. This would continue to be in addition to the normal state unemployment insurance benefits, which average about $300 per week.
At an annualized rate, a household with two people collecting an average of $600 per week in UI benefits would be receiving the equivalent of more than $62,000 per year, nearly matching the national median household income of $68,703.
This obviously provides strong incentives for people not to work, and to hold out for ideal, well-paying job opportunities that may never materialize. Fewer people actively working means lower amounts of production, which limits the quantity of available goods and services. A limited supply of goods and services being chased by a dramatically increasing amount of dollars will help to drive up prices more significantly.
Discouraging work and productive activity is the opposite of helping to alleviate poverty.
And what about the longer-term effects on the recipients once the benefits expire? How much more difficult will it be for them once again to find work after another six months of being out of the workforce? The Urban Institute leaves such questions unaddressed.
SNAP Benefits
The Urban Institute report also estimates that the extension of increased Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits would serve to reduce poverty by one-tenth of a percentage point.
The assumption here again is that the value of the benefits isn’t being traded off against higher food prices, an assumption that is naïve at best and intellectually negligent at worst. The higher cost of living may force more people below the poverty line than the benefits would enable to exceed it.
“Stimulus” Checks
Of the four measures analyzed in the Urban Institute’s report, the “stimulus” checks of $1,400 for most Americans are predicted to “produce the largest projected poverty reduction.”
The checks are purported to provide “relief” to families enduring financial struggles thanks to the covid lockdowns. But in spite of the significant spikes in unemployment, especially concentrated in the fields of hospitality and leisure, the majority of people receiving the stimulus checks will have suffered little to no interruption in their incomes.
Once again, however, the Urban Institute simply adds in the stimulus check amounts to low-income households’ incomes and declares that the additional income will propel many households above the poverty threshold with the assumption that the stimulus checks will have no other “macroeconomic effects” like price inflation.
Child Tax Credit
Finally, the study claims that the Rescue Plan’s child tax credit increase from $2,000 to $3,600 or $3,000 (depending on the age of the child) will “substantially boost the income of families with children.”
I recall Nancy Pelosi describing $1,000 tax cuts for working Americans as “crumbs” in 2018. But now a similar amount is described by the Urban Institute as a substantial boost in income.
Nevertheless, even though on the margins this additional income from the credit could push some families above the measured poverty rate, it remains irresponsible for the Urban Institute to merely wish away the negative impact of rising prices on low-income households in their analysis.
Only Productivity Reduces Poverty
Claims that government can “boost” the economy, or “create” jobs, or reduce poverty should be met with harsh skepticism.
With no resources of their own, the government can at best rearrange jobs, incomes, or patterns of production. But even more likely, the process of doing so will hamper economic progress, destroy jobs on net, and exacerbate poverty.
As John Chamberlain, the late economic historian, stated, “Poverty in society is overcome by productivity, and in no other way. There is no political alchemy which can transmute diminished production into increased consumption.”
Government “stimulus” or “relief” plans are long on encouraging more spending of newly created dollars, but short on encouraging actual production. The combination makes for a perfect recipe for price inflation, but not poverty reduction.
The fact that a report like the one produced by the highly esteemed Urban Institute must resort to such damning assumptions to conclude that the Relief Plan will reduce poverty bolsters my point.
Wake up, folks. The coronavirus is a hoax, a pretext for the radical undemocratic reorganization of society. 1969: ” Travel … would become very restricted. People would need permission to travel and they would need a good reason to travel. If you didn’t have a good reason for your travel you would not be allowed to travel, and everyone would need ID… later on, some sort of device would be developed to be implanted under the skin that would be coded specifically to identify the individual.”
Like sheep, humanity had better adjust to constant harassment as long as it tolerates Illuminati control of all important government and social institutions.
On March 20, 1969, Rockefeller Insider Dr. Richard Day (1905-1989) gave a speech to the Pittsburgh division of the American Medical Association in which he predicted: ” Travel … would become very restricted. People would need permission to travel and they would need a good reason to travel. If you didn’t have a good reason for your travel you would not be allowed to travel, and everyone would need ID… later on some sort of device would be developed to be implanted under the skin that would be coded specifically to identify the individual.” (Tape two) Although prohibited, Dr. Lawrence Dunegan made notes and related the contents of the speech to Randy Engel who made them available on tape. Dr. Dunegan reveals not just “WHAT” is intended for America and all people in the world, but “HOW” the controllers intend to carry out their plan. Dr. Day, left, said — “Everything is in place and nobody can stop us now . . .” “Some of you will think I’m talking about Communism. Well, what I’m talking about is much bigger than Communism!” “Everything has two purposes. One is the ostensible purpose which will make it acceptable to people; and second, is the real purpose which would further the goals of establishing the new system and having it.”NEW DIFFICULT-TO-DIAGNOSE AND UNTREATABLE DISEASES “Next heading to talk about is HEALTH & DISEASE. He said there would be new diseases to appear which had not ever been seen before. Would be very difficult to diagnose and be untreatable — at least for a long time.” No elaboration was made on this, but I remember, not long after hearing this presentation, when I had a puzzling diagnosis to make, I would be wondering, “Is this … was what he was talking about? Is this a case of what he was talking about?”. Some years later, as AIDS ultimately developed, I think AIDS was at least one example of what he was talking about. I now think that AIDS probably was a manufactured disease.”

DENIAL
As long as the masses refuse to acknowledge the Illuminati conspiracy, they will continue to be complicit in their own destruction.
For the last six months (in 2010), we have been bombarded with propaganda about the Swine Flu. Millions have been vaccinated. Billions of profits have been made. These vaccines might have been harmless. Who knows about the next? What we do know is that, generally speaking, Swine Flu proved to be less dangerous than seasonal flu.
Then, recently for over a week, we were bombarded with hysteria about weather change (aka “climate change.”) The Club of Rome concocted this bogeyman back in the 1980s.
We must regard official society as a brainwashing chamber where we are being subjected to trauma-based mind control. Other traumatic events from the last decade include 9-11, the Tsunami, Hurricane Katerina, the great Northeastern power black-outs, the financial meltdown, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
It’s been a good decade for the Illuminati. Society is far more fearful and pessimistic, far more willing to accept totalitarian control.
THE KEY TO OUR EXASPERATION
In the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, the author writes that their goal is: “To wear everyone out by dissensions, animosities, feuds, famine, inoculation of diseases, want, until the Gentiles sees no other way of escape except by appeal to our money and our power.” (Protocol 10)
“We will so wear out and exhaust the Gentiles by all this that they will be compelled to offer us an international authority, which by its position will enable us to absorb without disturbance all the governmental forces of the world and thus form a super-government.” (Protocol 5)
Harold Rosenthal who was a member of this cabal boasted that they even implanted a “guilt complex” over the holocaust and anti-Semitism that prevents society from addressing the threat.
Through control of banking, they acquired a total monopoly of “the movie industry, the radio networks and the newly developing television media…we took over the publication of all school materials… Even your music! We censor the songs released for publication long before they reach the publishers…we will have complete control of your thinking.”
We “have put issue upon issue to the American people. Then we promote both sides of the issue as confusion reigns. With their eyes fixed on the issues, they fail to see who is behind every scene. We, Jews, toy with the American public as a cat toys with a mouse.”
It would be great if the problem could be confined to “Jews” but literally everyone who advances the New World Order agenda wittingly or unwittingly is implicated, and that is, millions of people, i.e. the “Establishment.”
SOCIETY OFSHILLS
The Illuminati central banking cartel controls government credit, media, banking, corporations, education, professional associations, justice, military ..you name it. They use Freemasonry as their instrument. Recently, I posted an article about how they control the US Black community using the Masonic “Boule.” The same principle applies everywhere.
Society operates on two rails. The formal–the image of a democracy ruled by law that dupes the masses and ensures their cooperation. The informal– the Illuminati club, which actually makes the decisions regardless of what’s happening on the formal level. The informal infiltrates the formal until the latter is merely a mask for the former.
Want to succeed? Join the club of secret Satan worshipers. That’s what Barack Obama did. In a post May 29, 2009, Emily Gyde, an Illuminati defector who claims to be the real author of the Harry Potter series, says Obama told her this:
“I remember PRESIDENT OBAMA talking to me about how he had joined the ILL CULT – he didn’t want to – but he described himself as just an ordinary guy who wanted to take a wage packet home…that is how it was…he didn’t want to end up on the streets…at the end of the day, it was all about money…you had to have it to live…if he hadn’t joined the ILL CULT…he would have been disbarred…he wouldn’t have got a job…wouldn’t have been able to live…that’s how a lot of people get conned into joining the ILL. You are young, you want to prove yourself in life – you are told that you will ‘never get a job’ if you don’t…the ILL prove how powerful they are.”
CONCLUSION
When I was a sixties radical, we used to think people who worked for the Establishment had sold their souls to the devil. I didn’t imagine it was literally true, as the Illuminati are Satan worshippers, so you’re unwittingly working for his disciples.
The world has been colonized by this Satanic cult. What we are experiencing, while trying to maintain some civilized traditions over Christmas, is their relentless attempt to induct us into their cult as mind-controlled servants.
Give each of these people a smartphone and thisimage from the movie Coma describes our destiny: To be socially isolated except for our internet connectionuntil finally, they pull the plug on our feeding tubes.

If society collapses, you can bet that the foods the pioneers ate will become dietary staples
from Sept 29, 2020by Henry Makow PhD Clearly, the COVID “pandemic” is not intended to be a passing emergency but a ruse to impose a “new normal” corresponding to the UN’s Agenda 30. The dystopian future is taking shape. Mass gatherings have been canceled. We must experience the world on a TV screen. The NFL plays in front of a cardboard crowd to sound effects. Millions are stuck at home, working “remotely,” or paid to do nothing. (Will they ever agree to work again?) Restaurants and other businesses in urban centers are going bust. Students are deprived of the society of their peers, forced to take their courses online. Many are confined to their dorms without proper provisions. Attending classes remotely is like ordering take-out from Hooters. Everyone is required to wear filthy masks. Locally, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet canceled their annual Nutcracker ballet, scheduled for Christmas. Imagine hundreds of artists out of jobs.
There is talk that Christmas gatherings may be canceled. Every source of solace or happiness is being shut down. At the local Safeway, the lounge where old folk enjoyed their Timbits and coffee has been closed. They have nowhere to go. Montreal residents won’t be allowed to visit friends or family at home for most of October or eat out at their favorite restaurant as the provincial government struggles to slow the surge of new coronavirus cases. All bars, casinos, and restaurants are closed (takeout only). Libraries, museums, cinemas, and theatres will also be closed. Being less than two meters apart will be prohibited. Masks will be mandatory during demonstrations. Houses of worship and venues for events, such as funerals and weddings, will have a 25-person limit. Hair salons, hotels, and other such businesses will stay open. Schools will remain open.” For 16 million people in Northeast England, pubs and restaurants can stay open, but it will be illegal to go for a drink with a member of another household or visit them at their home from Wednesday. Roughly 100 students at the University of Western Ontario were referred for investigation under the school’s code of conduct after campus police broke up parties in university residences on the weekend. “At the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, with at least 1,889 virus cases since mid-August, and at the University of Notre Dame, with about 550 cases, students have reported their classmates for violating quarantine and wandering outside.”
Our social lives have moved to Facebook.
We’re being reengineered. The economy is tilting to cabin fever. Home exercise programs and food delivery are thriving. Amazon stock is soaring. Meanwhile, Main Street is boarded up. “The housebound are nimbly pivoting to virtual social gatherings,” The New York Times reports. “They’re holding birthday parties and bar mitzvahs over video chat, broadcasting D.J. sets and streaming concerts (some from the luxurious confines of celebrity homes), and establishing quarantine movie nights on Twitter for “virtual companionship.”
A lot of communal events are taking place on Zoom, a videoconferencing app now being used by many classrooms and businesses (thus transforming it into one of the few companies doing well on the stock market). But it’s not just Zoom.
There are, for example, a small but highly vocal number of people gathering in the digital plazas, pet stores, and pizza shops of Club Penguin Online. There are happy hours being held on Google Hangout, and poker games taking place over FaceTime. There are flute meditation sessions on Instagram and thousands of people participating in dance raves that are broadcast on Twitch. It’s a lot for the internet. On Monday, Discord, the chat app popular with gamers, announced that it would increase its capacity by 20 percent to keep up with demand; it crashed shortly thereafter.” CONCLUSION The plan is to dehumanize us in advance of full-blown tyranny. The scary part is that the masses still think the “authorities” have their best interests at heart. The medical profession, media, and politicians are all taking their orders from the Rockefellers. This psyop is an egregious betrayal of trust from which society will not recover unless the traitors are all sent packing. All we can do is refuse to become “pod people.”
Michigan, Wisconsin and Virginia court actions show some absentee ballot procedures imposed by Democrats violated state laws.
Long after former President Donald Trump dropped his legal challenges to the 2020 election, some courts in battleground states are beginning to declare the way widespread absentee ballots were implemented or counted violated state laws.
The latest ruling came this month in Michigan, where the State Court of Claims concluded that Democratic Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s instructions on signature verification for absentee ballots violated state law.
Benson had instructed local election clerks a month before the Nov. 3 election to start with a “presumption” that all signatures on absentee ballots were valid and only reject those that had “multiple significant and obvious” inconsistencies. Republicans and one election clerk challenged her instructions in court.
Chief Court of Claims Judge Christopher M. Murray ruled March 9 that the state Legislature did not provide such guidance in its election laws, and therefore Benson needed to promulgate a formal rule – a timely process – before imposing such a requirement. Murray told election clerks they should disregard Benson’s instructions in future elections.
“An agency must utilize formal rule-making procedures when establishing policies that ‘do not merely interpret or explain the statute or rules from which the agency derives its authority,’ but rather ‘establish the substantive standards implementing the program,’” Murray ruled.
“The guidance issued by the Secretary of State on October 6, 2020, with respect to signature-matching standards was issued in violation of the Administrative Procedures Act,” he concluded.
Benson’s office has not said whether it will appeal.
In neighboring Wisconsin, the state Supreme Court handed down a significant ruling in December when the justices concluded that state and local election officials erred when they gave blanket permission allowing voters to declare themselves homebound and skip voter ID requirements in the 2020 elections.
In a case challenging the practice in Dane County, one of Wisconsin’s large urban centers around the city of Madison, the state’s highest court ruled that only those voters whose “own age, physical illness or infirmity” makes them homebound could declare themselves “indefinitely confined” and avoid complying with a requirement for photo ID.
The mere existence of a COVID-19 pandemic and shutdown orders was not sufficient under Wisconsin law for all persons to skip the voter ID requirements to seek to vote absentee, the justices ruled.
“We conclude that both the contention that electors qualify as indefinitely confined solely as the result of the COVID19 pandemic and the declared public health emergency and the contention that Wis. Stat. § 6.86(2)(a) could be used for those who ‘have trouble presenting a valid ID’ are erroneous because those reasons do not come within the statutory criteria,” the court ruled.
In so doing, the court ruled that local officials like Dane County and Gov. Tony Evers did not have legal authority to exempt all voters to get an absentee ballot without an ID. Evers had issued an executive order earlier this year.
“We conclude that [Evers’] Emergency Order #12 did not render all Wisconsin electors ‘indefinitely confined,’ thereby obviating the requirement of a valid photo identification to obtain an absentee ballot,” the majority ruling concluded.
The court filings indicated nearly 200,000 voters declared themselves permanently confined in the state’s spring primary, a marked rise over prior years, and even more did so in the general election. Biden won Wisconsin by just 20,000 votes.
Meanwhile in Virginia, a judge in January approved a consent decree permanently banning the acceptance of ballots without postmarks after Election Day, concluding that instructions from the Virginia Department of Elections to the contrary in 2020 had violated state law. An electoral board member in Frederick County challenged the legality of the state’s instruction and won though the ruling came after the election.
“If the return envelope has a missing postmark, the ballot shall be rendered invalid,” Frederick County Circuit Judge William W. Eldridge IV ruled in the consent decree.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation, which represented electoral board member Thomas Reed called the ruling “a big win for the Rule of Law.”
“This consent decree gives Mr. Reed everything he requested – a permanent ban on accepting ballots without postmarks after Election Day and is a loss for the Virginia bureaucrats who said ballots could come in without these protections,” PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams said.
Several more legal challenges remain in states, as well as two audits/investigations of voting machine logs that are pending in Georgia and Arizona. And while there has been no proof the elections were impacted by widespread fraud, there are still significant disputes over whether rule changes and absentee ballot procedures in key swing states may have been unlawful.
In addition, the Thomas More Society’s Amistad Project on election integrity is pursuing litigation over whether hundreds of millions of dollars donated by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and routed to local election officials in several battleground states may have unlawfully influenced the election, according to the project’s director, Phill Kline.
“We’re expanding our litigation,” Kline told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Wednesday. “I still have suits that are active in Michigan and Georgia on this, and you’ll see us take new action in Wisconsin. And we will renew action in Pennsylvania. And, and our involvement in Arizona will take a little bit of a different tack, but will involve this. The Arizona legislature is going to do an audit and we want this within the scope.”
In other words, the election between Joe Biden and Donald Trump may be settled, but the battle over how elections will be governed – especially as it relates to absentee ballots and private funding of election clerks – has only just begun.
You can own your own missile command center and underground bunker, or your own ex-defense nuclear fallout facility. Underground bunkers for sale have skyrocketed recently and it is no wonder with the way the world is at the moment. Some of them are easy too, just order online, dig a hole and get it dropped in and you have just secured yourself one of these underground bunkers or storm shelters.
For those that have it, a bunker is the perfect way to hide out until the dust settles. Whether you are using it for a place to store your long-term food supply, your water supplies, and your protective gear, or you’re making it into a livable environment just in case a nuclear or chemical attack, or a storm happens in your neighborhood, a bunker serves its purpose in a modern day world, there’s no doubt about that.
If you were considering buying one, you are definitely not alone. Records show that sales have been on a rapid increase over the past two years, even more so given concerns of a nuclear strike the tension between the US and its aggressors, terrorism and the increase in heavy storms and hurricanes. And those sales haven’t just been by doomsday preppers either. More cashed up doomsday life-insurance seekers have been buying up available millionaire bunkers from Vivos and the Atlas Survival Condo.
So who are these manufacturers and property developers so intent that there is going to be an apocalypse that we actually need underground survival resorts, and are there any left?
Here’s a short list of the ones we have compiled below, and how much they cost:Show 5102550100 entries

Thankfully, the hardcore doomsday preppers haven’t snapped them all up just yet. We’ve found some bunkers and shelters that you can get right now all the way from ex-defense missile silos to in-the-ground DIY bunkers and even luxury bunkers you can share with other end-of-the-worlders.
1. Atlas Survival Shelters – BombNado
In what is reported to be one of the fastest growing businesses this decade in manufacturing, Atlas Survival Shelters has an impressive array of underground bunkers that are either off the plan or custom made for American homes.
Their North American bunker manufacturing plants span over 600,000 square feet which is the space required to roll off more than 1000 shelters each year. That’s right, they make more than 1000 underground bunkers and underground shelters each year. That proves that if you are in the market for an underground bunker, you are not on your own.
Atlas Survival uses technology from Switzerland and Israel, as those two places have building regulations that require every dwelling and building to have a fallout shelter with NBC filtration. For Atlas, they provide their bunkers with hand crank NBC (nuclear, biological and chemical) filter units so that should the power go out, your filter can work without the need for electricity.
You’re not stuck with choice when you check out Atlas Shelter’s interesting array of underground bunker designs, which change not only in space and size, but also with their unique designs which look very impressive. One of their most popular designs, and one of the more affordable ones, is their flagship in-home fallout bunker, the BombNado.
The BombNado underground bunker isn’t just a fallout shelter either, as you can see by the images below, Atlas Survival Shelters encourage underground bunker buyers to use their shelters now, rather than just waiting for it to be an end-of-the-world hotel or as a tornado shelter. Some of the designs that they offer have under-the-house bunkers transformed into office environments, hobby workshops, wine room, bachelor pads and entertainment rooms, all so you can feel safe while actually doing what you enjoy.
While this list isn’t in any particular order, I put these guys first specifically because their units are designed to be used as extra rooms in the house (sure, they’re located through a trapdoor in the garage). When it comes to prepping, I’d rather have an extra room I can use now as an office or in home theatre, and know that it is safe to use in a storm or nuclear attack than to pay a large amount of money for a spot in one of the millionaire bunkers that I might never get to see. But hey, that’s the risk of doomsday insurance, and you can never be too prepared. Hobby Room Office
2. Underground Nuclear Bunker For Sale, Kansas, US
This 10-acre property (eBay PN promotional link), complete with an underground communication bunker is a nuclear-hardened underground center ready to withstand anything. Let’s just say that if the end of the world was coming, I’d be happy to be cooped up in here.
The space of the underground area is huge at almost 12000 square foot of free-to-roam space. It has an on-site well and a 10,000-gallon stainless steel water storage unit with duel sewage ejector pumps all in place and functional with a working bathroom.
The rooms are pretty big with two-foot wall and ceiling thickness and then an extra four foot of earth on top of that. For air filtration, it runs on a closeable system to keep clean air in the bunker and works alongside a 225kw generator which is located in its own room.
As for the entrance, it has 3000lb blast doors with an escape hatch and decontamination shower to remove any possible nuclear, biological or chemical radicles you may be carrying on your skin or clothing.
3. Vivos xPoint Private or Shared Underground Bunkers
Outside view of Vivos xPoint bunkers
In a truly ambitious project in the Black Hills area of South Dakota, just south of the City of Edgemont, lies the world’s largest community bunker area of interlinked bunkers. It was a former army munitions depot consisting of 575 hardened concrete military bunkers. Each shelter has been renovated to be a completely self-sufficient life preserving nuclear fallout bunker which is built to withstand a 500,000-pound internal blast.
Let’s just say, if you are in one of these, you’re going to be safe. They are designed to withstand virtually anything as the bunkers are protected by thick berms of earth, which stops any surface damage. They are self-sufficient with access to off-grid water wells that pump deep from the artesian aquifer and stored within large underground reinforced tanks.
If you are planning on throwing a doomsday party, there’s plenty of space for friends, with each bunker having the floor space to accommodate 10 – 24 people and cater for them for more than a year with supplies.
As far as pricing goes, the Vivos xPoint underground bunkers are quite competitive. Given that they are refurbished military sites and have that community aspect to them, have private roads and landing strips, if you are making the investment for a bunker not in the home, but one that is managed by professionals experienced in nuclear survival and, well, doomsday prepping, then these bunkers are very good option.
The private bunkers, which fit anywhere from 10-24 people, cost a one-time upfront amount of $25,000 and are followed with an annual preservation fee of $1000. Splitting that with your friends makes this a very affordable bunker, however, you just need to convince them to invest in end-of-the-world insurance, and you’d want to hope they are good enough friends that you could stay locked up in a bunker with them.
I have also been contacted by one of my readers who is currently selling their Vivos Indiana bunker membership due to relocation. If you are in the Indiana area and are interested in securing the limited Indiana Vivos underground bunker membership you can find out more information through the Indiana Vivos contact email.

If $25,000 if a little too steep, or you just don’t have a family big enough to warrant that type of purchase, Terra Vivos have also catered for the more smaller groups and singles out there that still want doomsday insurance. You can buy a private space in a shared bunker in the Vivos xPoint facility, which will set you back at $7,500 per person with a monthly expense fee of $50 per person. That’s a lot more affordable than the private space and much easier to convince significant others who might not be so eager to spend money in the name of preparedness.
With the shared space bunker you are essentially paying for what is a luxury doomsday dorm, complete with seperate bedding and a communal area for entertainment and cooking.

4. Ex-Defense Missile Launch Underground Bunker, Missouri, US
This is an ex-Department of Defense military installation with an amazing build site well underground. It sits 35-feet below ground level and has more than 2000 square feet of bunker space. To access the facility, you either have an elevator shaft (currently not working) or a catwalk ladder system.
For the entry, it has two thick blast doors and an escape hatch and nearby the front is an air pump, a pump for the drains and the sewage. It also has the benefit of being EMP proof, which is a big concern at the moment for the US electrical grid system.
For the above ground center, it is more than 4,136 sq ft with five bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has all of its basic necessities too, such as a large fridge, oven, stove, dishwasher and water heater as well as the electrics with heating, internet and a secure access room to go into the bunker.
For the property, it is nine acres of farmable land with a chained fence and barbed wire. There’s also a helicopter pad (if you have one) to get there in a rush. In terms of looking at underground bunkers for sale, I am not you can find as many as good as this military bunker. However, you might need to do a little more work to get it fully operational.
5. Europa One
Europa One is built into the hillside in an old Soviet bunker in Rothenstein
This is another project from the successful Terra Vivos creators, who seem to run the gauntlet when it comes to the world’s most luxurious doomsday shelters and underground bunkers. I could not have written this post without including the Europa One, which is the world’s largest private shelter.
The Europa One is located in Rothenstein, Germany. It was formerly an old Soviet-built underground complex spanning 250,000 square feet and is nothing short of an underground city. It is able to house 6000 people, and has a small zoo, storage for cultural treasures, and a gene bank for plants and animals, should life be wiped out and someone has to start it again. Should any sh-t hit the fan event really happen, the Europa One is capable of supporting all of its inhabitants underground for several years without needing any breach to the surface.
The facility itself is tough. The 76-acre hardened facility is able to withstand a close-range nuclear blast, a direct airliner crash, biological and chemical agents, massive shock waves, earthquakes, electromagnetic pulses, flooding and virtually any armed attack. While the essential living and life-preserving necessities are below ground, above ground are offices, apartments, warehouse buildings and a train depot which built around the massive underground bunker.
Each family is given a private area in the facility, capable of being turned into a two-story home with a built potential of up to 465-square meters. As one of the world’s most luxurious bunkers, the pricing is not going to be cheap. To secure a room, private apartments cost 2 million euro (USD$2.45 million), while semi-private suites will cost 35,000 euro per-person (USD$43,000).
6. Fully Functioning Underground Shelter, Montana, US
This 20-acre property popped up on my radar only recently, and it looks like someone has really taken good care of the place.
The property is a nice regional escape, and what would be a prime bug out location. But it also has a large fully-functioning underground shelter on the property that has more infrastructure cost than the asking price of the property combined.
Its terrain is varied with a high ridge that hides an existing mobile home currently being lived in by seller. The shelter was built in the late 1980’s and is still functioning. This shelter is located in an area that has several existing shelters.
This shelter was built for 100 person emergency occupancy. Okay, so there needs to be a bit of cleaning done and it needs to be emptied of old food and other supplies. Check out the photos below of this epic Montana property. The view is enough in its own right.
7. Off-The-Grid Underground Bunkers For Sale, US
These things from Survive-A-Storm are epic. They are a 12-foot wide underground bunker and can go from 20-foot in length, or 40-foot for giant families.

9. Nuclear and EMP survival shelter, Arizona, US
This half-completed project is mobile, which is a great feature as you can pick it up in the back of a truck and park it out the back of your house or property for when the sh-t hits the fan. So what is this thing? It is an EMP shelter, which means if you step inside, you are going to lose any phone signal.
It goes a step further than that, this little survival shelter is a liveable area with beds, supply storage area and the necessities. The interior plumbing is done for this to be a self-contained nuclear, biological and chemical proof shelter with a power source, filter, solar panels and everything else you’d need.

10. Trident Lakes
Trident Lakes, what an ambitious project. And yes, add this to the list of doomsday resorts that have popped up recently. But Trident Lakes is a little different to most of these ‘hole in the ground’ type of underground bunkers, while being marketed as a “It’s a five-star playground with DEFCON 1 preparedness” project, this end-of-the-world resort takes a more practical approach to surviving doomsday scenarios, but in saying that, it is well and truly out of the price range for myself and a lot of other preppers.
So what is it? It is a new publicly available property that sets the benchmark for luxury and security in this modern day doomsday property market. It is a $320 million project that features sustainable, luxurious, self-sufficient living around a golf course 5-star spa, sports courts, blue lagoons for water sports, gun ranges, equestrian center, and of course a retail area with restaurants and cafes.
The living areas are in 500 plus subterranean luxury condominiums which range from 900 to 4,500 square feet. Not only are these built to withstand a nuclear blast and fallout, but they are also linked below ground with conjoining greenhouses, communal tunnels, and have access to helipads. It sounds like a film right?
The condominiums prioritize safety as well as self-sufficiency in that they are stockpiled with emergency food supplies, water supply and a renewable source for each, as well as off-grid power generators. Oh, and did I mention it is guarded by a fortified wall around the entire facility?
While applications are open to the public, there are some requirements that the facility has in place. Not only is the ticket high at $500,000 – one million dollars but the facility’s managers are after people with certain professions, namely ones that will become useful in a doomsday situation such as teachers, doctors, law enforcement and other civil servants and will be offering special financing to those that have those helpful skills.
Trident Lakes, unlike many of these other underground bunkers and fallout shelters, is not available yet, and while they are expecting to finish construction in late 2018/2019, they are filling up with spots of people wanting to live there, as it is not only a doomsday resort, but a sustainable and luxury home for the world’s rich to enjoy now.

12. Underground Granger safety shelters
These Granger safety shelters are a unit you can order online and they get delivered to your door. These have been quite popular in cyclone and hurricane areas because they are affordable and do the job pretty well.
However, I wouldn’t want to be spending more than a week in one of these as they are only for short emergencies (which weather ones generally are). The Granger shelter uses a polymer construction which is thick and insanely durable. It has a 500-year lifespan as well so it’s something you could pass down to the kids or keep on the property if you live in an area regularly affected by cyclones.
For the build, it has a thick aluminum door which exceeds FEMA standards and is gas assisted. It has an LED lighting system, non-float design and a limited lifetime warranty.

If you are looking for underground bunkers for sale, storm shelters for sale or survival bunkers, make sure you identify what it is you are after before you commit to the purchase, as some storm shelters will not be NBC (Nuclear, Biological or Chemical) proof.
When you are caught up in one of these underground bunkers for sale, bug out shelter or survival shelter, remember that you are probably going to need some stuff while you are down there too. In the event of a nuclear attack, chemical attack or plague, sure, these bunkers are going to keep you safe, but you are going to need a good supply of food as both long shelf-life foods, freeze-dried food supplies and a good stockpile of water. But don’t forget that you are going to need protective gear and the right gas mask to be able to withstand any contamination from radiation, chemicals, sicknesses or any other threat to your safety the outside might pose.
Did you know that if you have even a small subsistence farm to grow and or raise food for your family it all could be confiscated. Did you know the government is currently trying to identify and register all food producers to support this goal? Whether you are aware or not, at any time the president deems necessary, the US can now confiscate key resources in the name of national security. In particular, the food you worked hard to grow or raise could be seized. Naturally, it makes no sense to spend your time and money developing a farming capability to insulate your family from hard times only to have it seized. By following a few basic rules, you can help to protect your food supply and ensure those that helped cause the collapse and refused to prepare aren’t fed on your watch.
President Obama also nationalized our nation’s food supply through executive order. This executive order effectively orders the heads of various agencies to include the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to identify critical resources under their purview and develop policies on how to ensure their production and procurement during national emergencies. As with most government regulation, this order on the surface doesn’t sound too draconian. However, the devil is in the details regarding its implementation. In order for the USDA to “secure” the US food supply, it becomes necessary to identify everyone involved in food production. Once identified, then upon order, the USDA can send nationalized goon squads to confiscate any and all “critical resources” deemed necessary for national security. National security may very soon include declaring “preppers” “extremists and depriving them of their stores of food. In this particular case, it could involve your entire crop.
Doubt this affects you? Consider this, if you live in North Carolina, you must register with the state if you have even one chicken. This is ostensibly being done to rapidly inform, monitor, and protect the state’s poultry farmers from avian flu strains. However, as soon as anyone in government starts talking about “protecting” anything, one should suspect subterfuge. In this case, the government suddenly feels that you must be forced to “register” even if you have one chicken. By the government’s own admission, small isolated flocks have almost no risk to catching or passing the current avian flu strains due to their lack of ability to intermingle with wild waterfowl and then spread the virus to other birds. As such, one must consider alternative reasons the government feels that it is necessary to pry so deeply into private citizens’ lives. I would entertain the government’s arguments if they were focused solely on large commercial poultry farms, but they are not. This North Carolina regulation targets even an owner of a single bird as a pet and as such, is far too broad to be considered justifiable. However, when considering the quiet push behind the scenes by the USDA to identify all food producers, it makes much more sense.
You may be thinking that North Carolina is an isolated incident or that this is only applicable to poultry, but it is not. Let’s look at Wisconsin, which now “mandates” livestock premises registration. Again, as in North Carolina, if the regulation was solely focused on large scale livestock operations, it could be justifiable for the monitoring and tracking of disease. However, just like in North Carolina, this applies to even the smallest of hobby farms and in fact applies to anyone that has even one animal. It is also completely unnecessary. Just like the family that has a few chickens as pets in North Carolina, the family in Wisconsin with a pot belly big or rabbits do not pose any demonstrated increased risk to the livestock of the state. As such, once again, the trend supports a motive more indicative of complete registration and tracking of “all” food resources vice monitoring and mitigation of livestock diseases. Wisconsin isn’t alone. Both Michigan and Indiana also mandate registration of “any” livestock of any number being kept anywhere. Digging a bit deeper, the state link to the USDA policy of registration, monitoring, and tracking of all livestock (under the guise of tracking infectious disease) becomes very clear. In fact, the Council of State Governments blatantly tells us the states are in fact tracking all farms and livestock at the behest of the USDA.
Again, I recognize that skeptics will assert these are nothing more than well intentioned regulations being taken out of context and that they would need to see more specific evidence. To rebut their arguments, I could write volumes about the numerous new government regulations relating to heirloom seeds, animal and plant propagation, food storage, small gardens, raw foods, off-grid living, and water rights. When these regulations are considered in their entirety they form a powerful body of evidence that supports my assertion the government is building a broad database to use in the event it decides to confiscate food. However, the willfully ignorant and blind supporters of government tyranny are not of my concern. No amount of “evidence” will overcome their cognitive dissonance. My concern is to warn and inform those of you amongst us that have proven immune to brain washing and still have free thinking independent minds. Therefore, the fact remains that there is a growing trend at both the federal and state level of forcing everyone with live stock, orchards, gardens, etc. to register with the government. Once this database is complete, the government will no doubt use it to extract taxes and fees, conduct inspections and raids, and ultimately, should the need arise, confiscate your food. To prevent mitigate possible confiscation attempts from both government agents and looters; one should consider employing my four rules of food security. Living without power, cars, electronics or running water may seem like a nightmare scenario but to pioneers it was just the way life was. Having the skills to survive without modern conveniences is not only smart in case SHTF, it’s also great for the environment. Keep in mind that the key to a successful homestead does not only lie on being able to grow your own food but on other skills as well. Learning these skills will take time, patience and perseverance, and not all of these skills are applicable to certain situations. Hopefully, though, you managed to pick up some great ideas that will inspire you and get you started! Just like our forefathers used to do, The Lost Ways Book teaches you how you can survive in the worst-case scenario with the minimum resources available. It comes as a step-by-step guide accompanied by pictures and teaches you how to use basic ingredients to make super-food for your loved ones.
My first rule comes from the movie “Fight Club.” Don’t talk about your food production and storage. Although it may be obvious to neighbors you garden or raise a small amount of livestock such as hogs and poultry for personal consumption, the broader public doesn’t need to know. Continuing with that point, how much food you put up for long term storage and where it is stored should never be an open topic of discussion. Let them think you have nothing in food stores even if that means using disinformation.
My second rule is to disperse your food stockpiles using food caches. If you have stored adequate amounts of food for your family properly, even a complete confiscation of your current harvest shouldn’t push you to food lines and soup kitchens. Just like with firearms, don’t store your food all in one place. Food preserved properly can be cached in the ground just like most anything else and store literally for years. In fact, well camouflaged in-ground storage areas similar to mini-root cellars are excellent places to store food. Just make sure you don’t mix foods like apples and potatoes, which will cause the other to go bad quickly in your food cache. The simplest of these food caches can be constructed by digging a hole below the frost line big enough to store what you want. Then load your cache, cover it with a board, add a layer of insulation, and cover it with a layer of dirt (dirt alone can be used to cover and insulate). To finish it, camouflage the cache site any remove traces of a trail to it. I favor using a technique where you cache a mixed bundle of food stuffs capable of supporting the basic nutritional needs of your family for a month. This method allows a cache to remain undisturbed until you actually are going to use it and includes all of your food staples. It also justifies the investment of energy making the site.
My third rule requires developing the skills to identify and use wild and edible plants. As I have written many times about any government bureaucrat with an accompanying goon squad or looter can identify a cellar of potatoes and a field of corn. However, very few will ever be able to recognize wild spinach, pokeweed, dandelions, chicory, huckleberries, and common milk weed as “food.” In fact, most will walk right past these tasty, super-nutritious wild plants assuming them to be weeds in a fallow field you didn’t plant this year. Further, even if they recognize them as potentially being cultivated, they wouldn’t have enough sense or knowledge to know when to pick them, what parts to pick, and how to prepare them without potentially poisoning themselves. Like the bureaucrats and looters though, if you don’t study this knowledge on your own, you will not be capable of employing this critical food security technique. I find that the best way to employ this technique is in a deliberate fashion. Leave small plots of your garden or fields to appear “fallow,” but in reality, plant these plots with a natural mix of wild edibles. This requires you to collect the seeds from various edible plants the season before and store them in a cool, dark, dry location. In the spring, till up the soil in that plot, mix the wild seeds, and broadcast them throughout the fresh soil. Then lightly cover the seeds and allow nature to do its work. The plot will grow up appearing as if it is a natural mix of weeds typical of any fallow field or recently disturbed ground, but in reality will be a dense mix of mutually supporting edible plants that require little to no further gardening. In fact, the yield may far exceed the yields of your cultivated plant species, will naturally choke out undesirable weeds, and require no additional work aside from harvesting. I apply the same basic concept to my fruit and nut trees. Naturally, having an orchard setting is smart, but also intentionally plant Black Walnut, Butternut, various hickory, apple, pear, plum, and pawpaw trees throughout your property and forest. These trees will also blend in to the natural flora and an untrained eye will never be able to pick them out as fruit and nut bearing trees outside of an orchard setting. Respective of livestock, one faces more difficult challenges keeping their existence hidden. One technique to leverage is to raise free range animals, which are difficult to completely account for and round up. In the event of an inspection, theft, or confiscation, it is unlikely that without the owners help, the offender will be able to locate and completely coral and capture all of the free range livestock. For animals such as ducks and chickens, this can be accomplished pretty easily; especially, if non-traditional coups are used and they are dispersed throughout the property. However, with grazing livestock and hogs, a fence must be used to limit their range. Still though, with enough property, one can let their animals roam as they graze and forage like the old cattle ranchers of the West. Ultimately, if confiscations were to begin, one could simply release their livestock to become feral and be hunted rather than allowing their livestock to be stolen or seized.
My fourth rule is to register absolutely nothing unless you absolutely have to. Whether or not you choose to comply with government regulations is a matter you must individually assess and decide upon. If registering your farm, livestock, or garden isn’t mandatory, this is a no brainer…don’t. However, when it becomes “mandatory,” one must consider the pros and cons. For example, maybe it is best if you just register “some” of your livestock to give legitimacy to your farming operation, but not draw unnecessary attention from authorities. Maybe you simply want no trouble and are willing to risk confiscation so you comply 100%. Maybe the risks are not the issue and you decide that your moral and ethical code to resist encroaching tyranny at all opportunities is more important so you register nothing. I cannot make this decision for you, but you must make it. Either way, my first three rules are designed to work equally well whether or not you decide to comply when the time comes.
In summary, the USDA working in conjunction with the military and the Department of Homeland Security have set in motion plans to identify and track all critical resources in this country to include food. The impact of this could mean that in a time of crisis, if the government deems it necessary, it will confiscate your food. To ensure your food security, I have provided you four basic rules to follow that will help you cache your food, diversify your crops, and provide for better overall food security in the face of looting or confiscation.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that the violence and rioting that is going on in cities across the country isn’t going to stop anytime soon. Considering the amount of potential problems with this year’s elections, there’s a good chance that any election results will go to court, regardless of who wins. So in other words, there’s almost no chance that things will be peaceful after the elections.
With that in mind, we need to be ready for whatever comes. While we don’t want to be instigators of any violence, we certainly don’t want to be victims of it either.
Reality says that we all have to go out sometime, even in the midst of pandemics and rioting. So there’s a distinct possibility that you’ll end up confronted by rioters when you least expect it. That’s enough to make some means of defense part of your everyday carry (EDC).
Pistol
Your main weapon is always your concealed carry pistol. This is one time you want to be carrying it for sure. Even so, you want to do everything you can to avoid drawing it or even letting anyone know it’s there.
Don’t try using your pistol to put an end to the rioting, as that could end up backfiring and sparking an increase in the violence.
The reason to carry a pistol is for your own defense. If things get out of hand and you’re in danger of life and limb, then you’ll need to draw your pistol. But be sure that it’s absolutely necessary, before even reaching for it, so that you don’t telegraph its existence and location to the rioters.
Make sure you have at least two extra magazines too. You don’t know what will happen if you start shooting. You may very well have to shoot your way out of the situation.
AR-15
The AR-15 is the closest thing I can think of to a civilian firearm designed for this situation. The ease of use and speed of reloading, changing out its 30 round magazines, means that you can keep shooting as long as they keep coming after you.
Just make sure you stop shooting as soon as the danger to yourself is lifted. You don’t want to be found guilty of your own murder spree.
I’d recommend a red dot sight for a situation like this, as it is the fastest and easiest optic for getting a sight on a target, even if the rifle isn’t quite lined up right. Back that up with iron sights, even if you have to install them at an angle, so that you have something to use if your red dot goes out.
While this article is about the best items to carry, I’d use extreme caution about even carrying an AR-15 into one of these situations. If there are others who are carrying, then it’s okay. But you don’t want to be the only one carrying one and end up attracting attention to yourself. Better to keep it in the trunk of the car, and stay close to your car so that you can get to it if you need to.
A Stout Walking Stick
A good walking stick is a great weapon, if you know what to do with it. I’m talking about one that is five to six feet long here, not a gentleman’s walking stick that’s no bigger than a cane.
A longer walking stick like this can be used as a quarterstaff or bo staff, depending on which you are more familiar with. It gives you reach over any attackers, without having to resort to firearms.
If you’re going to carry any sort of staff or walking stick, then you want to take some time to practice using it. This isn’t the sort of weapon you can use effectively, without practice. Look online for videos which explain how to use them, then spend some time in the backyard getting the swing of it.
The biggest thing you want to be sure of, when using any weapon of this sort, is to make sure that nobody can get their hands on it. If an attacker grabs it, they might succeed in wrestling it out of your hands and attacking you with it. Then you’d be forced to resort to another weapon, like your concealed carry pistol.
Martial Arts Weapons
If you have training in the use of martial arts weapons, this might be the time to make use of that training. Such weapons would give you a distinct advantage in any fight you might end up in.
The trick is carrying them in some way that nobody knows you’ve got them. A heavy coat, like a ski parka, will help in this regard.
Like the staff, don’t try using martial arts weapons if you don’t know what you’re doing. You don’t want to be in a position where the weapons you are carrying can be turned against you and used to inflict harm on you.
That’s likely to happen with any weapon that gets taken away from you.
Wasp Spray
I’ve always had an issue with pepper spray in that it is such a limited weapon. You’ve got to be extremely close to the other person, almost putting it in their face. Then, you’ve only got enough spray for a few quick shots, before the can runs out.
Many people have recommended wasp spray as a replacement for pepper spray. Not only does it come in a larger can, but it’s designed to shoot about 20 feet. This allows you to use it as a weapon to clear the area around you, spraying one person after another in the face.
I will warn you though, wasp spray is not considered a legal weapon in all states. So you’ve got to be sure that you meet the criteria for the use of deadly force, even though it isn’t a deadly weapon.
Body Armor
Regardless of what weapons you’re carrying, if you’re going to be anywhere near the rioting, I’d highly recommend wearing ballistic body armor. Even if the rioters aren’t shooting, that armor could be useful.
Part of the way it works is to dissipate the kinetic energy from a round hitting it, spreading the impact out to minimize blunt-force trauma, while it also stops the bullet to prevent penetrating trauma. So, if someone knocks you over and tries to kick you in the chest, the armor would spread the force out, lessening the pain that it causes.
That body armor won’t help your head though and wearing a military helmet might be a bit too obvious. But if you happen to have a motorcycle helmet around, you might want to keep it in your car. Motorcycle helmets aren’t bullet-proof, but they are designed to withstand blunt-force trauma. So if you find yourself in a difficult situation, putting that helmet on could protect your head.
Your best course of action, with any sort of riots, is to make yourself scarce. There’s really no way for you and me to win in that situation. While we may be tempted to go out and defend all we hold dear, even trying to do that could land us behind bars. And that’s about the best we can expect. Dealing with those riots is really the business of the police and the National Guard.
This means staying away from the areas where rioting is likely to occur, especially the downtown area or a neighborhood where an event has happened that might spark violence.
I’ve warned you about this before – but now there’s more proof…
A new finding from the November Capital Riot should scare the living bejeesus out of you with how the U.S. government was able to track each person in the mob individually the entire time they were in Washington.
This information is now being used to haul in every last rioter as they’re hunted down for questioning.
If society collapses, you can bet that the foods the pioneers ate will become dietary staples
And they’re not the only ones who are being “hunted”…
YOU, my friend, are being tracked right now and your personal information is being shared on the “dark web”.
Make no mistake, your personal movement and information CAN (and WILL) be used against you in so many ways, it’s literally keeping me up at night.
Fortunately, I have a “secret disable key” you can use right now that will protect you.
But you have to use it NOW, before any more of your data gets shared with the wrong people.
How To Stop The Government From Tracking Your Movement Via Your Smart Phone…
You see, every “smart phone” comes already implanted with a “tracking ID” that’s specific to you and everything you do.
Some of it, you already know, like what you shop for, what articles you like, what facebook ads you click on, etc.
But there are also deeper identifiers that are secretly being tracked without your knowledge… INCLUDING where you travel every single step of your day.
This includes every intimate detail of your whereabouts: gun stores, strip clubs, shooting ranges, fraternity meetings, coffee with a friend who may unknowingly be on a “watch list”.
You get it, right?
Each one of these locations is a “ping” on the government’s radar that – at will – could be used to pin you to something that you may not even know about.
And with a renewed focus on “domestic terrorism” and the government’s own records that cite WHO could be considered an “enemy of the state” – specifically:
Believing in the 2nd Amendment
Storing away “survival food”
Buying more than 2 guns
Purchasing “excessive” amounts of ammo
Even comments you make on Facebook!
Sound like anyone you know?
Yup, me too!
Look, it’s more important than ever to safeguard your personal privacy – for your own protection.
And while I do love my smartphone for all the cool stuff it allows me to do, it can also be your worst enemy when it comes to government snooping (during a very dangerous time).
Here’s A “Secret Key” To Disable Your Smart Phone’s Tracking Device…
On an iPhone…
Go to “Settings”
Tap “Privacy”
Select “Tracking”
Disable the option that says “Allow Apps to Request to Track”
On an Android…
Go to “Settings”
Tap “Google”
Select “Manage your Google Account”
Select the “Data & personalization” tab from the account dashboard
Scroll down till you find Activity Controls. Here you’ll find the two options that need to be disabled. Just toggle both to the “Off” position.
Your Next Steps To Take Your Personal Information “Off The Radar”…
Of course these aren’t the ONLY steps you need to take for “complete protection”.
There are all kinds of sneaky tricks the government (and slimy marketers) are using to track you and use your information without you knowing it.
If you’re as protective of your personal information as I am, there’s a book I just got that has a simple 7-step plan to take yourself “off the radar” that I highly recommend.
But in my opinion, you have to take these steps NOW because you and I both know that the government will stop at nothing to invade our private lives for their own benefit.
You’ve been warned (again).

Other than the obvious consequences, what might we expect from a partial economic collapse? A total collapse of the economy would throw the nation into utter chaos. But what if we endure an economic depression, or a severe and long-lasting downturn? I think that some of the effects are not so obvious.
1. The college and university system will collapse
As I explained in this previous post, the system of higher education is a house of cards. The cost of getting a college degree has risen sharply and steadily, while real income has remained relatively flat. The price rise is due to the easy availability of grants and loans for education. But with so many persons getting a college degree, its value in the marketplace has plummeted. Many college grads are out of work, or they are working in a job that does not require a degree. Eventually, this practice of paying more and more, for something that is worth less and less, will collapse the system. Colleges and universities will not have enough paying students, and professors will not agree to a drastic pay cut. Overhead expenses are far too high.
All that is needed is an economic collapse, or partial collapse, to topple this house of cards. Many universities and colleges will be forced by economics to shut down.
If society collapses, you can bet that the foods the pioneers ate will become dietary staples
The current U.S. agricultural system is based on the expectation of high yields. But high yields are obtained by high inputs — all the things that go into growing the crop, including lots of fertilizer, perhaps irrigation, herbicides, pesticides, labor, machinery. Then those high yields are sold and the money is then used to fund the inputs for the next crop cycle.
An economic collapse will mean that farmers will not be able to afford all the inputs needed for high yields. And when yields fall, the amount of money from that crop will be less. Then the next crop cycle will have even less money for inputs, resulting in even lower yields. And the process will continue — lower yields, less money, lower inputs — until many farmers are out of business and a food crisis results.
When people lack money and food, they become desperate. And desperate people do desperate things. Theft and robbery will skyrocket, and people will be afraid in their homes, and afraid to go out in the community. Even a quick trip to the market will become risky. Sales of most goods will plummet, causing the economic crisis to worsen. Protests will turn violent. Home invasion robberies will become much more common. Many people will be killed or injured as a result of this increase in violent crimes.
4. Law enforcement will be overwhelmed
The law enforcement system in the U.S. is commercial. Officers are paid. We don’t keep a large excess of officers on the payroll, just in case crime sharply increases. So it is relatively easy for the system to be overwhelmed. And that means a call to 911 might not bring the police to your door in time, if at all. Those who have firearms for home defense will be much better off than those who rely solely on the police. But many households have no firearms. And that means that robberies will increase, and so will the economic damage and the number of injuries and deaths.
5. The healthcare system will be overwhelmed
The healthcare system is also commercial, and lacks a safety margin in the form of excess doctors and nurses. Hospitals operate at close to capacity. A sudden increase in persons who are sick or injured will overwhelm the system.
The aforementioned increase in violent crime will undoubtedly increase injuries. But it is less obvious that a disruption to the food production and distribution system will increase illnesses. Plenty of good healthy food is the first line of defense against illness. Malnourished persons are much more likely to get sick. So an extended disruption to the food supply will cause an increase in illnesses.
6. Travel anywhere will become dangerous
As a result of all the above described problems, travel will be dangerous. Want to make a quick trip to the supermarket? You risk having your house robbed, if it is left unoccupied. And you risk being attacked on your way back from the market. Robbers might wait outside the market and follow anyone who looks like they purchased a lot of food.
There will be protests in many places, and violence will often break out. People who are hungry and afraid do not make the best decisions. Then there is the cultural aspect of the situation. We live in a culture that tells us to expect the government to take care of us, and to protest whenever anything doesn’t go our way. Ironically, self-sufficiency is abhorrent to our narcissistic culture.
I expect that the roadways will be dangerous, as violent criminals will see travelers as easier targets than homes.
7. The death rate will jump higher
People will be malnourished because of the disruption in the food supply, so they will get sick more easily. Violent crimes and violent protests will result in many more injuries than usual. And yet healthcare will be much more difficult to access. There will be a shortage of hospital beds. It will be difficult to get a doctor’s appointment. There may be a shortage of prescription and OTC medications.
All of these factors will make life a riskier endeavor.
Now if you are a seasoned prepper, who has long considered the dangers inherent in an economic collapse, you may have anticipated some of the above consequences. But I hope I’ve added to your understanding of the possible problems that we may soon face.
Have you ever wondered what makes a person snap? What causes a normal, quiet, everyday citizen, loving mother, or doting father to lose it all and fight like a caged animal? What can cause a small village to rise up and rebel against an oppressive police force and start killing them? What is the switch that gets flipped that causes a city to pour two million people into the streets, chanting and demanding to be heard by their government?
Lately it feels more and more as though we are on standing on the edge of some yawning precipice peering over the crest into darkness. What is more troubling to me is that we have been down this path before. The sense of unease is almost palpable to me sometimes; it is more evident if you are paying attention. If you are able to eliminate the white noise of the world for a minute; hit the pause button on the playlist of daily life for a while and look around, listen, you may start to recognize that you too are caught up in events that will soon change all our lives.
For several years I have felt an unsettling sense that we need to be prepared, that life is going to throw us a big, fat, greasy curve ball soon and we better not be caught napping. To try and proactively address that warning voice I started planning and taking steps to prepare my family to be able to weather events in the future. I am certainly not alone in this concern as you can easily see by the tremendous growth of the prepper movement. In the spectrum of probable events, there are a lot of potential scenarios. Natural disasters and emergencies occur every day all over the world, but you have to broaden your gaze and look to current events and history as well. One of the things that I think is a valid potential event to consider is a collapse of our way of life which leads to an authoritarian oppressive government.
If society collapses, you can bet that the foods the pioneers ate will become dietary staples

We have seen in recent events, by now almost too numerous to mention, the effects of a rising frustration with the way things are. It isn’t necessary to go into all of the individual reasons, but as a society there are more and more outpourings of frustration on a global scale. There are increasingly tightening restrictions against people. There is a manipulation of markets and the economy. There is a great increase in the loss of freedom and there is a more open antagonism and almost outright animosity by Government towards their people.
Governments exist either because they have come to power through force and violence or they have been elected and given power by the people. The force and violence crowd usually have their roots in the military and we like to call them Dictators. There have been a ton of them throughout history; Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Kim Jong iL and now his son, Saddam, Gaddafi, the list goes on and on. Dictators don’t care about the people and usually kill anyone who gets in their way. It is a fact that government has killed more people than any other cause, disease or reason.
The other side of the coin is what is usually called Democracies. I am lumping a lot of governments in here I know, but the democracies are usually elected and formed with the consent of the people with the noble goal of securing rights or protecting the people over whom they govern. Almost without fail however, Democratic Governments eventually do not want to answer to the people and at some point they most certainly will not be told what to do by the people to the point of ignoring the will of the people (for the people’s own good of course). Now these governments that are supposed to secure the liberties of their people are becoming more openly hostile to the same people they have sworn to defend. Funnily enough the democratically elected governments now seem to want to hang on to power with the same methods of force and violence as dictators. How else can you explain arming themselves with ammo, ignoring the constitution, purchasing assault vehicles and preparing to confiscate firearms?
When governments will steal money outright from the citizens in order to pay bills that were not incurred by the people we have a problem. When government spies on its people and uses that information against them punitively we have a problem. When Government uses the force of the military that was supposed to defend the people that was paid for by the people, for the purposes of killing the people, we have a big problem. When someone brings to light crimes by the government and is labeled as the one who is a danger, we have a problem.
The problem is that governments around the world are viewing their people as the problem and there really seems to be only one way throughout history that this is ever rectified. My fear is that we are already set on a course that won’t be changed with laws, great political leaders, or a return to the values of a golden age in time long past.
The Fine Line – The Straw that breaks the camel’s back
The fine line between someone who is a law-abiding citizen and a murderer is one that exists purely in our souls. There is nothing physical that is different from a person who follows the rules and someone who breaks them. The urge to pull the trigger isn’t something you can see and it isn’t a trait to test for, so it must be our own individual sense of right and wrong. Of good and evil.
I know that some will argue that a psychopath is definitely recognizable by character traits and maybe even brainwaves or chemistry. That may be true, but you can be a psychopath (clinically) without ever hurting anyone. By the same token, you can take a life while being perfectly “sane”.
If you hold a knife in your hand, you are just as capable of using that to stab or cut someone as the murderer in the next town, but that thought never enters the mind of an overwhelming majority of people. A baseball bat in your hands can easily be swung with great force connecting it to the back of a skull, but this thought never appears in our heads; that is unless we are forced into a corner. When a person is in desperate fear for their lives, the unspoken rules of right and wrong are broken. The processes that we follow every day are overridden in the cause of rage or self-preservation. What was unthinkable before is now very real, necessary and even righteous with the right circumstances.
When the right buttons are pushed, anyone can lose it. When the fear of dying or of losing someone you love is so overpowering, the “fine line” that has been keeping us sane, law-abiding and good is easily shattered. When this happens, all bets are off.
We as a people, a country are still rather firmly attached on the good side of this line. We have not yet completely been driven to abandon all hope and lash out. We have not yet been so harmed, have not gotten to the point that we have nothing to lose and are ready to lose it, but this may be coming in the future.
The force and violence that is being used now to quell the dissatisfaction of people globally is increasing. The methods to cease the complaining of the rabble has been relatively minor with some exceptions. Tear gas, rubber bullets, mace and batons only work up to a point though. When the time comes that people can no longer abide, there won’t be enough police to stop them using riot control techniques. The military doesn’t have enough people to stop the entire population unless those people peacefully agree to surrender, so what will they do? Do you believe any government will quietly step down and admit that they are obviously not speaking for the people anymore? No. They will resort to more force and violence and people will die. Either that or you have a coup like they had in Egypt and guess who took over to “restore order”? Yep, the Military.
What will be the inevitable response by the authorities?
The Chinese people who started to revolt against the police in their town did so because the authorities were “placing restrictions on their culture, language and religion”. China is no picnic compared to America and we clearly know they have lived through far worse oppression than we have, but this was the straw that broke the camel’s back for them?
The protests which turned into an estimated two million citizens of Brazil had started simply enough with a protest over a rise in the rates of public transportation.
In America, what will be the trigger that causes people to rise up and say we aren’t going to take this anymore and more importantly what will happen when/if we do?
What will happen if we don’t change the path we are on?
The execution of the last Jew in Vinnytsia, made by an officer of the German Einsatzgruppen
There is a quote that has always struck me as very sad and telling from Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn in his book The Gulag Archipelago. Solzhenitsyn was a Russian who was sentenced to 8 years in a Soviet prison camp for essentially writing things about Stalin that the government didn’t like. During this time in Soviet Russia, to stifle dissent, millions were killed or sent to prison camps. In this passage Solzhenitsyn is talking about regret that everyone felt because they simply went along with this tyranny and didn’t oppose it.
“AND HOW WE BURNED IN THE CAMPS LATER, THINKING: WHAT WOULD THINGS HAVE BEEN LIKE IF EVERY SECURITY OPERATIVE, WHEN HE WENT OUT AT NIGHT TO MAKE AN ARREST, HAD BEEN UNCERTAIN WHETHER HE WOULD RETURN ALIVE AND HAD TO SAY GOOD-BYE TO HIS FAMILY? OR IF, DURING PERIODS OF MASS ARRESTS, AS FOR EXAMPLE IN LENINGRAD, WHEN THEY ARRESTED A QUARTER OF THE ENTIRE CITY, PEOPLE HAD NOT SIMPLY SAT THERE IN THEIR LAIRS, PALING WITH TERROR AT EVERY BANG OF THE DOWNSTAIRS DOOR AND AT EVERY STEP ON THE STAIRCASE, BUT HAD UNDERSTOOD THEY HAD NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE AND HAD BOLDLY SET UP IN THE DOWNSTAIRS HALL AN AMBUSH OF HALF A DOZEN PEOPLE WITH AXES, HAMMERS, POKERS, OR WHATEVER ELSE WAS AT HAND?… THE ORGANS WOULD VERY QUICKLY HAVE SUFFERED A SHORTAGE OF OFFICERS AND TRANSPORT AND, NOTWITHSTANDING ALL OF STALIN’S THIRST, THE CURSED MACHINE WOULD HAVE GROUND TO A HALT! IF…IF…WE DIDN’T LOVE FREEDOM ENOUGH. AND EVEN MORE – WE HAD NO AWARENESS OF THE REAL SITUATION…. WE PURELY AND SIMPLY DESERVED EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED AFTERWARD.” – ALEKSANDR SOLZHENITSYN
Will this be our fate too? Will we slowly be conditioned to accept atrocities like this and to be completely defanged so that we can be herded into camps without so much as a whimper as well? That’s crazy you say! Is it? Right now, our government is hunting down someone who simply exposed how they (government) were illegally spying on all of us. Our government is buying arms and stockpiling weapons for use domestically not in some war. Our government has the IRS actively harassing a single political/opposition party. Our government has shown that they will lock down a town and go door to door while making the citizens stay cowered inside. Our government has stated that they can imprison anyone without cause for an indefinite amount of time.
Can you seriously argue that we aren’t headed down the same path as others have in our not too distant past?
This is not a call to armed Revolution, but I do think we should all be very wary of this course we are on and the echos of history. We should not be silent in the face of increasing oppression. We should not simply go along quietly because of the fear that we may get in trouble, or worse that we believe the government is only looking out for our best interests. You only need to look at the people in Poland who quietly went into the Warsaw ghettos. You don’t have to look any further than the Holocaust to see what quietly going along will get you.
This is not a fate that I will be bringing on my family.
