Forward thinkers are always ostracized. It has been that way throughout history. Preppers are no different. We just ought to be thankful we are not living in the time of Socrates, or else we would be lining up for the hemlock.
From large scale civil unrest to the one of an EMP generated by the sun, it’s clear that preppers have been way ahead of their time. These topics were once deemed “paranoid”, or “delusional” but all of the sudden names in pop culture and even world governments are paying attention to these types of threats.
One such threat seems to be leading the pack and has shown up in many recent government reports. FEMA in particular seems to be concerned about the threat of a geomagnetic storm that would emanate from the sun and cause massive power outages across the planet.
A once classified FEMA report has surfaced and goes in depth on the level of preparations and concern that they have for a storm of this magnitude.
Understanding Reports and Unpublished Documents
The government buys ammo, writes and drafts lots of reports and documents that never really see the light of day. Now, we must be smart about that bit of information.
It’s important to take a look at these for what they are. There is a lot of research and science that goes into creating these drafts and reports. They are not a bunch of made up steps and stats.
However, some of these reports are also never going to be acted upon. That means, though the report may contain some very effective information, it’s not going to affect law or protocol in any way.
To be completely clear, what we have here is an unpublished document that was written by FEMA. It contains some very important information that confirms the government’s understanding of the EMP threat posed by our own sun.
The title of this unpublished report is very telling.
Mitigation Strategies for FEMA Command, Control and Communications During and After a Solar Superstorm
FEMA and NOAA’s Geomagnetic Storm Timeline
There are many takeaways from this classified FEMA report, but the geomagnetic storm timeline is the core of this document. This timeline shows that this report was put together with a tremendous amount of research and a focus on following the solar superstorm, from its start as a sunspot all the way crashing into the earth’s atmosphere.
G Minus 5 Days
This is the first spotting of the large sunspot on the surface of the sun. The focus is on large, complex magnetic fields on the surface of the sun. From this point we would have a 5 day window to prepare, but it would be very hard to determine the threat at this point.
G Minus 17 Hours
At the launching of a massive CME we are left with just 17 hours to prepare. Radio, radiation storms and geomagnetic storm warnings and watches are also issued at this point.
G Minus 16 hours 40 minutes
The solar radiation storm arrives at this time and we lose 15% of our satellite fleet due to solar panel damage. There could be greater loss and efficacy issues with GPS.
We would have about 20 minutes notice before this happened. “We” doesn’t necessarily mean you and I would hear anything.
G Minus 15 minutes
CME arrives at the NASA ACE Satellite.
There is no going back from this point. This is basically the point when we have an EMP on our planetary doorstep.
0 HourServices Interrupted
At the heart of the EMP fear is the loss of services. We all know that once shipping stops things get ugly fast. When the food and medicine are no longer being shuttled around the nation, people get hungry and desperate.
Water systems will also be affected by an EMP. Much of the process that cleans your water is governed by computers and machine systems. Those go away, too!
In this report they discussed something that was very interesting in terms of communications and infrastructure. It is called the “Cascading Loss of Last Mile Telecommunications over Time”. It’s a terrifying look at how over the span of 8 days all communications will fall, starting with communications from home telecom lines.
The diagram below offers up a telling scenario where this cascading loss takes its grip starting at the residential level and working its way through to the Central Office.EMP Recovery
The infrastructure needed to tackle EMP recovery is expensive and hard to make. That’s the deal. We are talking about things like oil cooled transformers that are 60,000 a piece and require special equipment to move around.
Special equipment that will likely not be EMP proof!
Recovery from an EMP is something of a pipe dream if we are honest and if the whole nation is affected. Maybe the military could bring up sections of the grid at a time, or maybe not. However, it really is more of a countdown on human life.
The survival of our society will depend on how many people die in the time it takes to recover from that EMP.
What to Make of all This Reporting?
There are two big takeaways from all these documents coming to light, research being done and even Donald Trump bringing the threat of an EMP to the forefront.
#1. People are Paying Attention
While we can all agree that our bloated government is full of people looking for a way to bide their time and get another day closer to pension, this keeps coming up. Grid down situations are a concern in the halls of government. I don’t think we can deny that.
Even the most cynical of us must agree that without electricity it gets much harder to collect taxes.
How far they will go to take action against an EMP threat is another thing entirely. However, we also have to be honest about our responsibility in this.
We the people cannot bray about small government all day and then complain that they aren’t 100% prepared to assist the public following a total grid down situation.
#2. A Prepper’s Responsibility
The second and more important takeaway from this report is that we have a responsibility to prepare and get as many others prepared as possible.
A widespread grid down situation is going to kill anyone who is not prepared for it. It’s even going to kill tons of people who are prepared for it. Now is the time to take action and make your action known. I really believe that us, preppers, can influence the world positively.
People might seem put off by the message but, trust me, they go home, and they think about putting up their own food and being ready for when disaster strikes.
I don’t remember where I heard it, but when the Supreme Court ruled that the 2020 election could be completely fake and it didn’t matter, some semi-redpilled legal analyst said that they would try to “balance it out” by doing some conservative rulings during Joe Biden’s first year.
That’s what I immediately thought of when I saw this.
USA Today:
A divided Supreme Court on Tuesday required President Joe Biden’s administration to reinstate a controversial immigration policy that forces migrants to wait in Mexico while U.S. officials process their asylum claims.
Biden asked the Supreme Court to intervene after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit based in New Orleans ruled his administration improperly halted the Trump-era immigration policy shortly after his inauguration. Republican attorneys general in Texas and Missouri sued in April to reinstate the program.
A conservative majority of the high court said in a brief order Tuesday night that the Biden administration failed to demonstrate the decision to end the program was not “arbitrary and capricious.” The court’s three liberal associate justices, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, would have allowed the administration to continue its suspension of the program.
The White House and the Justice Department declined to comment.
The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement late Tuesday that it “regrets” the Supreme Court’s decision but that the department “will comply with the order in good faith.” The department said it was engaging with Mexican officials about the program.
The Biden administration had previously told the Supreme Court that restarting the program would create a “diplomatic and humanitarian crisis.” The administration had asked the high court to block the lower court’s order temporarily while the underlying legal fight continues over how it halted the program.
Please note that this ruling comes after some number of millions of people have been marched into America across the Southern border in the last eight months. No one knows how many millions, because the government doesn’t allow anyone to see what’s happening, completely refuses to release any data, and the media in turn refuses to report on it.
People have estimated that it’s roughly 20,000 a day being moved in, which would be about 5 million over 8 months. I have no idea what those estimates are based on, because all data is blocked and we don’t even really have pictures. But it sounds like 20,000 a day would be about what is feasible if you were trying to move as many as possible, which seems to be what they’re trying to do.
For those who don’t know: under Obama, the “Mexicans” (who are actually mostly Central and South Americans, along with poor people and criminals from everywhere else in the world) started claiming “asylum” when they came to America, saying that their country had too much crime so they have to live in America instead. When you make this claim, you are given a court date to have your “asylum case” heard by a judge. Most of the cases are rejected as not meeting the standards of asylum.
Under Obama, they would just never show up to the court hearing (and then it is illegal to arrest and deport them). “Remain in Mexico” meant that a person making this claim had to wait in Mexico for the result of whether or not his application would be accepted.
What does that mean now?
Well, most of the people who wanted in are probably already in at this point. If you go to a Latin country, most people are not saying “oh my dream is to go to America and work construction for $2 an hour and leech the welfare system.” It’s a very specific segment of the population of any country that wants to do this, and that entire population had already been cleared out of Mexico, so the Jews that run the NGOs started going to Central America to get these “caravans” rolling up through Mexico into America.
But at this point, after 8 months of open borders, it’s likely that they’ve exhausted the current supply of these people. Obviously, they could get a route going from Brazil and get a whole new crop of human garbage rolling in. That’s complicated because there isn’t really an easy road through the Amazon jungle. But all the easy pickings of “New Americans” have likely been mostly exhausted by now.
You surely don’t hear about the “border crisis” anymore – and that’s because they already moved most of these people through.
Obviously, the Democrat Party controls the entire government, so in response to this SCOTUS ruling, they can simply change the law. Or they could just not follow it. We already had the example of the feds outright refusing to follow the court’s order on an eviction ban (which had been ordered by the CDC), and that wasn’t even a major news story. The media just said “despite the SCOTUS ruling, the CDC has decided to extend the eviction ban.”
The whole concept of law and order has ceased to be, effectively, already. You still have vestiges of it hanging around, but they have thus far not interfered with the Democrat agenda.
Probably, at this point, the Democrats would prefer to just start flying people in on planes from various countries and giving them “diversity” visas. They can just explode those numbers very easily, because Sean Hannity supports immigration as long as it’s LEGAL, and Mitch McConnell is to the left of Hannity.
Immigration Doesn’t Even Matter at This Point
Honestly, since the 2020 election hoax, immigration is officially just a distraction.
Before the 2020 election hoax, there was a possibility that we could stop the tide, and then start sending these people back where they came from, and repair the country’s demographics through policy. That isn’t an option anymore.
America is already probably not much more than 50% white. When the boomers die off, we’re going to immediately be a minority – below 40%. That would be the case even if the wall was built, flights stopped, and there was a full moratorium on immigration.
The only way we are going to fix this problem is through a two-fold solution:
Redrawing the borders of the country
Physically removing tens of millions of people
There is no situation where both of those things are not going to be necessary in the future.
So whether when the federal government falls we are 36% of the population of the current United States or 27%, the solutions are going to be the same.
So honestly, talking about immigration at this point – especially getting all depressed about it, or enraged – is a waste of both time and energy.
In the end, we are either going to solve the problems or not, but given that there is no possible path to solve the problems through the electoral process, immigration simply does not matter anymore, in any practical sense.
It’s still a good issue to talk to people about and so on, of course.
You might specifically want to point out the vitriolic glee of Jews like Jennifer Rubin.
But if anything, it’s possible that these levels of immigration will be a positive, as they will force white people to realize the fact that they are indeed white, and people who are not white are indeed different than them.
Believing immigration matters at this point is like believing Trump is going to be reelected in 2024. It is just part of an unwarranted belief that there is some kind of solution to any problem short of a collapse of the federal government.
Freedom in America, and throughout the world, is in decline. In fact, it has been in decline for many years.
Perhaps a little freedom lost in exchange for security and comfort may seem like a fair trade in certain cases. But caution is advised. As the idea of what freedoms are acceptable to give up expands, the air of freedom becomes polluted.
Small losses of freedom, whittled away incrementally, add up. You may not notice it from day to day. Yet over time the sum losses have resulted in a world that’s dramatically less free.
Compulsory seatbelt requirements or drivers licenses may not be a big deal. One could argue this government regulation is a small sacrifice that’s intended to provide public safety. Yet maybe the world would be a better off without it.
And what about body scan searches to board an airplane? Or proof of vaccination to enter an indoor business or to cross state lines? What about vaccine passports?
Do these measures make you safe? What about government issued digital money, and the banning of cash transactions?
By and large, privacy in America, and throughout the world, no longer exists. The surveillance state runs rampant. Facial recognition technology is vastly improving. The monitoring of financial transactions has become a staple of the 21st century.
The SEC, IRS, FCC, FDA, EPA, TSA, DOJ, DOD, FTC, CIA, FBI, DEA, Department of Labor, Department of the Interior, Commerce Department, and much, Much, More. These bureaucratic agencies all have an intended purpose that was, at one time, deemed necessary by those elected to represent the people.
In practice, they all serve to centralize power and encroach on individual freedom and liberty…
Government Salvation
In 1913, the Sixteenth Amendment was ratified, which legalized the federal income tax. That’s when the welfare-warfare state really began its inexorable march. That’s when freedom took a backseat to the pursuit of big government.
The Federal Reserve Act, the New Deal, gold confiscation, war spending, social spending, social security, Medicare, big business bailouts, COVID stimmy checks, generous unemployment payments, lockdowns, national eviction moratoriums, money printing…
By the close of the first two decades of the 21st century, a large part of America had become a nation of dependents. Freedom had been lost.
At the same time, everyone says they love freedom. In fact, everyone says they cherish freedom. Yet this only holds true so long as freedom doesn’t interfere with their social security, Medicare, or other big government checks.
And therein lies the paradox. People say they love and cherish freedom. They’ll celebrate it on Independence Day with reverence and zeal. Yet they will sacrifice it for safety and security. They will incrementally trade freedom for the promise of government salvation.
The future democratic tyrannies, predicted Tocqueville in 1840, will extend “over the whole community,” and maintain men “in perpetual childhood.” The government “provides for their security, foresees and supplies their necessities, facilitates their pleasures, manages their principal concerns, directs their industry.”
It “covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd…till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd.”
Alas, Tocqueville’s prediction has come true in America and in democracies throughout the world. Moreover, once lost, freedom can take centuries to return.
Make of it what you will. Say what you want. Freedom, no doubt, is the ability to say, “screw your freedom.”
And freedom is also the ability to reply with, “screw you, I’ll do what I want.”
In America, today, there is still the freedom to say this; but, the ability to act – to do what you want – has been, and continues to be, regulated from existence.
Ultimately, freedom, like many things in life, should not be taken for granted…
Don’t Take Me For Granted
I’m your worn in leather boots. I’m the warmth you find in your morning coffee cup. A tank of gas and an open highway. I’m the choices you get to make. So make them wisely.
I was there when Eve ate the forbidden fruit. I was there when Peter heard the rooster crow. A gold coin and a handshake. I’m the heart beat and the breath that keeps you alive. Where’s your gratitude?
I’m the voice that speaks what’s on your mind. I’m the integrity that comes with doing what’s right. A 12-guage shotgun loaded with 00 buckshot. I’m the time and security stowed away in your private property. I am refuge.
I’m the pop in your left hook. I’m the humility of a secondhand suit. A pack of smokes and a six pack. I’m the dreams you had on high school graduation night. Nothing will ever stop you.
I’m stronger than a Spartan army. I’m the softness of freshly fallen snow. A rip roaring fire and your loved ones. I’m the spirit in your Sunday morning worship and praise. I am everlasting.
I’m the bounty of a fall harvest. I’m cool water flowing from a mountain spring. A pocket full of cash and the big city. I’m the sour saxophone interlude in Rosie’s Angel Baby. My imperfection’s my perfection.
I’m as rare as a four leaf clover. I’m as precious as a warm jacket on a winter night. Liberty and autonomy if you want it. I am freedom and I’m here for you…
Preparing to survive in a post-SHTF world is challenging. More than anything, we have to realize that we’re preparing blind. We don’t know what sort of disaster we’re facing or what the post-disaster world is going to look like. With those two pieces of information missing, it’s hard to know exactly how people will react and what they will do. Therefore, we must prepare for the worst.
There is a wide-ranging assumption that public servants will abandon their posts. I would have to say that this assumption is totally unfair. We live in a hurricane zone and my wife is a city employee. She and her co-workers are required to agree that they will stay on the job, protecting the citizens of the city and keeping city services running, both during and after a hurricane. While a few might abandon their posts if things get bad enough, most seem to be people who will follow through on that requirement.
But what about a worst-case scenario? What about in the wake of an EMP or other grid-destroying event, which would result in a true breakdown of society and the banking system; a situation where they would no longer be paid to do their jobs?
That’s a difficult question. For some, like my wife, their positions probably wouldn’t exist anymore. But the real issue here is emergency workers and law enforcement officers. We would greatly need their services in the wake of such a serious disaster. Would they stay on the job or would they feel they had to abandon their posts to care for their families?
There’s really no way of knowing the answer to that question until the time comes. It is a very individual question, so I imagine that some will stay, while others leave. Whether they stay or leave will largely determine whether they are friend or foe.
The Cops Who Stay on the Job
Police officers tend to be highly disciplined individuals, much like soldiers. In fact, many start out as soldiers, then move to law enforcement when they get out of the military. As such, they are largely people with a high regard for the law. Oh, there are the few bad apples; but despite stories saying otherwise, there aren’t many of them.
Those who stay on the job will be concerned with maintaining law and order in the worst of circumstances. They will also be subject to the politicians who are still in place over them. This means that if those politicians declare martial law, they will most likely enforce martial law, unless they believe that to be an unlawful order.
This could get sticky. As we saw during Hurricane Katrina, declaring martial law would probably mean they would be confiscating guns as well. That would put the police in the position of appearing to be the enemy in the eyes of any Second Amendment supporter. Whether or not they actually became an enemy would depend on how you, I and other gun owners would react to them. If we use force to reject their orders to turn over our guns, they will use force in response. That makes them our de-facto enemies.
The Cops Who Abandon their Posts
Some police officers may choose to abandon their posts, especially if they feel that their families are in danger. In that case, the question is what they will do to protect and care for their families. While there are very few bad cops out there, there is always the possibility that a cop will turn bad in such circumstances, out of desperation to take care of their families.
These people will be dangerous, because they will be able to present themselves to the public as law-enforcement officers, when in fact they are acting like criminals. There could even be some cases in smaller communities, where the police take over, much as warlords take over in times of anarchy. Should that happen, the police in question would be extremely dangerous.
It would be our duty, in such a case, to stand up against the police. But here’s the problem. How do you tell if what they are doing is in the public interest, or just in self-interest? If they are acting in the public interest, our duty is to support them, so we need to be sure they are the enemy, before treating them as such.
The National Guard
If military forces are called out to help gain control, it will be the National Guard, not the active military. US law prohibits the use of US military forces within the borders of the United States. Even if politicians in high places wanted to use the regular Army, it is doubtful that Army officers, all of whom know that prohibition in the law, would allow it.
But state Governors can call out the National Guard to help law enforcement in maintaining law and order. It’s not unusual for this to happen in the case of natural disasters. I would say that we should expect it to happen in a true SHTF scenario.
National Guard forces are US Army reserve soldiers and formations, which are “owned” by the governors of the several states. They serve a dual role, both as state owned military forces and reserves for the federal forces. If called out in a disaster situation, they could serve either to support law-enforcement or to provide disaster relief. In either case, they would be armed.
Should martial law be declared, it is highly likely that the National Guard would be called out. If guns are confiscated, they are the ones who would most likely do the confiscation. They would probably be as polite as possible about it; but if they decided to obey that order, they would do their best to fulfill it.
However, the National Guard, like other military forces, is made up of predominantly conservatives. There’s a very good chance that they would refuse an order to disarm the population. Military officers swear an oath to uphold the Constitution and they would likely see the disarm order as a clear violation of the Second Amendment. As such, it would be their duty to refuse that order.
UN Troops
Of all these options, UN troops is the most dangerous. Any decision to use UN troops would have to be made at the federal government level. Were such a decision to be made, the troops which would be brought in to help maintain civil order would not be American troops. They would be unfamiliar with our culture (other than what they had seen in movies) and unfamiliar with our laws.
To these troops, a firearm confiscation order would seem perfectly reasonable, especially when you consider that they would probably come from a country where they don’t enjoy our Second Amendment protections. There would be no appeal to them on the grounds of our Constitution.
Should this happen, refusing an order to turn over your guns would be dangerous. The only thing that would protect any of us is the fact that there is no federal gun registration. Even so, there are states which require a permit to own guns, as well as concealed carry licenses which many of us have. That would give them a starting point for where to look.
Getting into a battle with armed troops is foolish. In such a situation, the only practical recourse is to hide all your guns where they won’t be able to find them, with the exception of a few, which you could then allow them to confiscate, making them think you’ve obeyed the order.
Regardless of the specific situation we would end up encountering, chances are that any police or military forces which were still in operation, would be there as part of whatever government managed to survive. Unless such forces decide to go rogue, we can count on them being there to help.
That doesn’t mean they’ll be our friends though. Unless you know them personally, they will look on you with suspicion, just like they will everyone else. Anyone carrying a weapon openly will be suspect. That doesn’t mean that they’ll hassle you, take away your weapons, fire upon you or arrest you; it just means that they will be watching to make sure that you aren’t a problem that they need to deal with.
The best thing you and I will be able to do in such a situation is to keep ourselves below the radar, so that we aren’t noticed. If we are not noticed, hopefully we will be left alone.
Should orders go out to confiscate any supplies that are stockpiled, it would probably be a good time to put our bug out plans into effect. Hopefully, we’ll all have a cache of supplies elsewhere, so that when we lose the supplies that we have stockpiled at home, we’ll still be okay.
While it’s normal, even healthy, to fear a pandemic, the fearmongering that’s occurred during the COVID pandemic has facilitated manipulation of the public and is putting freedom and civil liberties at risk
Author Laura Dodsworth describes the current state of affairs as a “political war on breathing,” such that if you have COVID-19, you become the “enemy,” your breath becoming your weapon
The moralization of COVID-19 mitigation measures has become so entrenched in society that the researchers believe they’ve reached the level of a sacred value
Now, each of us is a potential enemy, depending on whether or not our actions are deemed acceptable on the scale of COVID morality
Masks. Lockdowns. Quarantine. Fear. They’re words that have become household terms since 2020. And while it’s normal, even healthy, to fear a pandemic, the fearmongering that’s occurred has facilitated manipulation of the public and is putting freedom and civil liberties at risk.
If society collapses, you can bet that the foods the pioneers ate will become dietary staples
Author Laura Dodsworth, who wrote “A State of Fear,” which details how the U.K. government weaponized fear during the COVID-19 pandemic, explained:1
“In one of the most extraordinary documents ever revealed to the British public, the behavioral scientists advising the government said that a substantial number of people did not feel threatened enough by Covid-19 to follow the rules. They advised the government to increase our sense of ‘personal threat,’ to scare us into submission.”
She describes the current state of affairs as a “political war on breathing,”2 such that if you have COVID-19, you become the “enemy,” your breath becoming your weapon. As fear increases, so too does the desire for control, even when it concerns something as life-giving as breathing. “Breath,” Dodsworth wrote, “has fallen from sacred to sinful.”3
COVID Health Responses Are Moralized
The unprecedented restrictions implemented by governments around the globe during the pandemic have come with profound economic, social, physical and psychological health costs to society.
A U.K. study published in the journal Psychiatry Research, for example, found a significant rise in depression symptoms and a significant decline in wellbeing at lockdown, while over one-third of the university students were clinically depressed, up from 15% at baseline.4 Drug overdoses also skyrocketed.
From December 2019 to December 2020, there were 93,331 estimated overdose deaths in the U.S., which represents a 29.4% increase in 12 months.5 Certain states had an even higher year-over-year increase, including Kentucky, with overdose deaths increasing 53.7%, and West Virginia, with a 49.3% increase.
Such deaths, however, are justified by the COVID narrative as necessary to prevent COVID-19 deaths, justification that’s supported by the moralization of COVID-19 health responses. As explained by a study in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology:6
“This moralization of health-based efforts may generate asymmetries in judgement, whereby harmful by-products of those efforts (i.e., instrumental harm) are perceived as more acceptable than harm resulting from non-C19 efforts, such as prioritizing the economy or non-C19 issues.”
In one of their experiments, public shaming, deaths and illnesses, and police abuse of power were considered to be more acceptable if related to efforts to minimize COVID-19 than when resulting from non-COVID-19 measures, such as reducing traffic deaths.7
In another experiment, subjects rated research quality less favorably when “questioning continuing a C19 elimination strategy in NZ [New Zealand] than one questioning abandoning an elimination strategy,” which suggests that questioning efforts to eliminate COVID-19 is morally condemned.8 The moralization of COVID-19 mitigation measures has become so entrenched in society that the researchers believe they’ve reached the level of a sacred value. According to Dodsworth:9
“Morality has been generally topsy-turvy in a time driven by fear. We have no tolerance for Covid deaths but seemingly little interest in deaths from other causes.
We were told we must protect the elderly, yet they were transferred from hospitals to care homes and … we discover that 50,000 dementia cases have been missed. The government showed a worrying enthusiasm for the furtive use of shaming, bullying and fear-mongering to make the nation comply with lockdown rules.
Culturally and economically, lockdown was easier for the middle classes and elite, rather than the working classes and front line workers who serviced them. Feminists tie themselves in knots explaining why ‘my body, my choice’ does not extend to vaccine mandates. Schools closed. People died alone at home. Focusing on one virus was never a simple moral equation.”
Ushering in Biopolitics
The pandemic has ushered in an era of biopolitics, a term first used by French philosopher Michel Foucault. As biopolitical governing increases, political control extends to the biological processes that control life itself. Biopower becomes the sovereign power and processes that govern human life are controlled under authoritarian rule.10
“Giorgio Agamben, the Italian philosopher, has written about the reduction of life to biopolitics,” Dodsworth wrote. “To simply reduce the theory, he says that the man who is ‘accursed’ (in this case infected or even potentially infected) can be set apart from normal society, and must live a ‘bare life’ — life reduced to the barest form. In the ‘state of exception’ normal laws and morals are forgotten.”11
Such transitions to a police state have been largely welcomed because of purposeful use of martial language suggesting we’re “at war” with SARS-CoV-2. Boris Johnson even compared GAVI (formerly the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations), funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to NATO in 2020 and, in so doing, revealed a “seismic paradigm shift in how we perceive our ‘enemies.’”12
Now, each of us is a potential enemy, depending on whether or not our actions are deemed acceptable on the scale of COVID morality. In June 2021, the U.S. National Security Council also released a new “National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism.”13 While it’s being largely framed as a tool to fight white supremacy and political extremism, the definition of what constitutes a “domestic terrorist” is incredibly vague and based on ideologies.
Investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald stated that the end goal of the newly emerging war on domestic terrorism is to “essentially criminalize any oppositional ideology to the ruling class,” adding, “There is literally nothing that could be more dangerous, and it’s not fear-mongering or alarmism to say it.”14 As Dodsworth put it, a “war” against anything, be it a virus or different ideologies, is a tool that ushers in increased authoritarian control:15
“Martial language has been used throughout the epidemic. We are ‘at war’ with a virus … Fighting talk conveys strength and offers hope of winning when we feel out of control. But war also requires populations to make sacrifices and obey the chain of command. It reminds us we are not just at risk, we are the risk. We are the enemy.
… As war and terror justify a security state, the virus justifies a biosecurity state. Borders are redrawn from the geopolitical to biopolitical and policed by the state. The legal detention of healthy people, the punishment of rule-breakers and the mandating of vaccine passports are permitted by emergency laws but also enabled by a narrative of dehumanization.
People who break the rules are ‘dangerous’ (they might be infectious), ‘stupid’ and ‘socially irresponsible’. The unsafe, unclean and dangerous might breach the air of the virtuous vaccinated. These attitudes originally arise from the natural fear of an epidemic, but they are upheld by the continuing manipulation of fears.”
Inconsistencies Cannot Be Questioned
Throughout the pandemic, health officials have flip-flopped on their guidance regarding masks, social distancing, asymptomatic spread and lockdowns. The initial lockdowns were intended to flatten the COVID-19 curve, but even after that happened, lockdowns continued, sometimes two and three times.
With each lockdown, society grew more distant, more accepting of isolation and, often, more fearful. Questions arose regarding the effectiveness of oppressive measures like these to curb infections, but those who spoke out were silenced.
The censorship is perhaps most profound among those asking for more information about COVID-19 vaccines and the risks of a mass vaccination campaign with an experimental product. The vaccines were supposed to stop the spread of COVID-19, but fully vaccinated people can still transmit the virus.16
Even the World Health Organization advises people who are vaccinated to continue wearing masks due to the Delta variant because “vaccine alone won’t stop community transmission.”17 The inconsistencies are deafening. As Dodsworth put it:18
“We are simultaneously told that if you have the vaccine you can still be infected with and spread Covid, but if you don’t take it you are putting others at risk. The argument should fold under the weight of its own incoherence, but instead vaccine passports are being mandated in multiple countries with eerie synchronicity. It’s not conspiracism or paranoia to be alarmed by such developments.”
Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA and DNA vaccine core platform technology,19 has also spoken out about the risks of COVID-19 gene therapy vaccines. Speaking with Aga Wilson with Newsvoice,20 Malone listed several adverse events that are already raising red flags. Another important point: censorship prevents full comprehension of these risks.
Cardiotoxicity
Coagulation problems
Female reproductive health concerns
Miscarriage in the first and second trimesters (this has not yet been confirmed), Thrombocytopenia (dropping blood platelets)
Brain and nervous system disorders
Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS)
It’s also a myth that the only way to reach herd immunity is through universal vaccination. As Malone said, “Herd immunity is most often reached through natural infection … Vaccines will not get us to herd immunity.”21
Divisiveness Brewing Between Vaxxed and Unvaxxed
At the start of the pandemic, there was talk of communities coming together and staying strong in a united front to beat the virus. Now, we’re seeing the rapid emergence of two sets of people — those who are vaccinated against COVID-19 and those who are not.
With the roll out of vaccine passports, unvaccinated people are being increasingly excluded from certain concert venues22 and travel, including being prohibited from entering certain pools, restaurants, parties and bars on cruise ships.23
New York City launched the Excelsior Pass,24 which documents your vaccine status and, as of August 16, 2021, proof of vaccination will be required to enter restaurants, gyms and theaters.25 Throughout the world, unvaccinated people are facing loss of privileges while being morally shamed and labeled selfish. Dodsworth wrote:26
“In Israel, the language used to describe the unvaccinated is depressingly divisive. ‘Those who refuse vaccines are endangering their health, those around them and the freedom of every Israeli citizen,’ said prime minister Naftali Bennett.
‘Those who refuse vaccines hurt us all because if all of us were vaccinated we would all be able to maintain daily life.’ The unvaccinated are to be barred from much of public life, from cinemas to synagogues, unless they get tested.”
In a nod to the inconsistencies that have plagued the pandemic, no mention is made of people who have natural immunity from prior COVID-19 infection27 and choose not to get vaccinated for that reason. Meanwhile, “while crisis can catalyze exciting and positive change,” Dodsworth noted, “a new moral code should not be forged in fear.”28 Now is the time to step back and see through the fog before feeding into the fear and labeling friends and neighbors “enemies.”
Left. Red Pillers chased by pod people in “The Invasion of the Body Snatchers”… Today they’d be wearing masks. “Society is happy to toe the line of tyranny because they actually believe that they might gain permission from their masters to simply live. These are the fools among us, and they make up the largest part of society, and this does not bode well for our future.” -Gary Barnett
Makow- We neither have the intelligence to understand our predicament nor the courage to confront it. The covid hoax is the culmination of a centuries-old conspiracy by Cabalist Jews to destroy Christian Western Civilization. Wars, depressions, homosexuality, feminism, migration, sexual liberation, pornography, miscegenation, dumbed-down education etc. were all designed to undermine and sacrifice Western society to Communism. Thanks to the Cabalist-owned MSM, we believe this ongoing satanist assault represents “progress” rather than suicide. Essentially, we have been inducted into a satanic cult. Satanic cults control and exploit their members by making them sick (i.e. vaccinations) or think they’re sick.
The whole Western political, business and cultural establishment are traitors, second-raters who advanced their careers by selling their souls to the devil. The central bankers handpicked these opportunists to execute their agenda, i.e. enslave and dispossess humanity. Hence, “You will own nothing but you’ll be happy.” (Certainly this doesn’t apply to Bill Gates & his banker buddies.) What H.W. Bush said to Sarah McClendon in 1992, “If the American people ever find out what we have done, they will chase us down the street and lynch us,” is quite literally true. Luckily, most Americans are too gullible to see the truth. Below, Gary Barnett comments on the peoples’ passivity in the face of lockdowns. They think they are temporary until vaccines take effect. They are not listening to the World Economic Forum which states plainly that the covidhoax is designed to reorganize society, i.e. enslave humanity. They state explicitly there will be no return to normal:
In COVID-19: The Great Reset, Klaus Schwab states: “Many of us are pondering when things will return to normal. The short response is: never. Nothing will ever return to the “broken” sense of normalcy that prevailed prior to the crisis because the coronavirus pandemic marks a fundamental inflection point in our global trajectory.” …
—-“If you force yourself to be the same as everyone else. It causes neuroses, psychoses, and paranoia. It’s a distortion of nature, it goes against God’s laws, for in all the world’s woods and forests he did not create a single leaf the same as another.” —Paulo Coelho
The People Are Consumed by Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Ignorance, and Indifference
As I watch this takeover of the people of the world, and understand the insanity of it all, I have to pause in order to regain composure, and to continually guard against consorting with a mass population that seems to be a type of pod people straight out of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”
One need look no further than the sea of masks to understand this phenomenon, as all expression is hidden, and all look the same. This is a modern twilight zone, but it is one where the people not only look the same, they are the same.
We are facing what some might refer to as Armageddon, and they are not far wrong. This is most certainly a battle of good against evil, and at this point, evil has the upper hand. Every day, many out there continue to claim that people are beginning to fight back, and that the tide will be turned. In my opinion, this is simply not true, and in fact, any major resistance still appears to be mostly absent from view. The reasons for this mistake in judgment are not due to what people actually say or believe, but in how they act in concert. Yes, many know that these draconian measures are not necessary, but the bulk of society is happy to toe the line of tyranny because they actually believe that they might gain permission from their masters to simply live. These are the fools among us, and they make up the largest part of society, and this does not bode well for our future. Living in constant fear, fear that is baseless and ridiculous, can only destroy the minds of those that are little more than frightened sheep at this point. Once the state narrative is accepted, once the masses turn to total obedience in order to accommodate the ruling class in exchange for false promises, all is lost. Those of us willing to risk all for freedom, to stand up to these totalitarian monsters, and to refuse to bow down to any illegitimate authority, face censorship, police brutality, incarceration, and at some point even possible death. Large numbers of true dissenters could crush this state assault, but those numbers do not exist in this current environment.
The state’s mandates, pronouncements, threats, & incessant executive orders are going on as scheduled, and have become relentless in nature, and more restrictive every day. This could not be happening if there were any legitimate pushback from this pathetic population. Although some of us continue to fight against this dictatorial plot, it is not enough to stop or even slow down the agenda-driven invasion that has already destroyed nearly all of our freedom. The continued propaganda is sinking into the brainless segment of this population which is ever growing in numbers. By wearing these deadly oxygen stealing masks, by testing with a PCR that is being used to deposit foreign elements in the brain, by taking this RNA/DNA, gene altering concoction falsely called a ‘vaccine,’ the ability to think is systematically being destroyed due to the insertion and injection of toxic pathogens. The more that fall into line and do everything they are instructed to do, the less chance there will be for any remedy to this global reset and takeover of the minds and bodies of the American people. With time, and people complying with all state orders, it will eventually become impossible to change this course we are on because part of this conspiracy is based upon implanting toxins in the body, controllable nanoparticles in the brain, bioweapon ‘viruses,’ and any number of other poisons.
These injected operating systems are meant to allow control of large populations, and this technology already exists, much of which is still unknown to the average citizen, and most others as well. In addition to all these things, many millions could die from the very adverse effects possible from these invasive pathogens that could cause great harm for months and years to come, virtually crippling the entire population and future generations as well. Under these circumstances, population control through democide, which has already begun, will become more evident in the not too distant future, and all will be blamed on one or another fake ‘virus’ that will be said to have mutated, giving rise to continuous injections of poison. Eugenics never had it so easy, as people are lining up to die. Hysteria has set in, children are being destroyed mentally and physically, and mass depression is now common. With this comes despair, suicide, aggression, and of course psychosis. This is certainly a “new normal,” but it is the state’s creation of a new normal so that the ruling class can take all and control all. There is no real danger, there is no ‘virus,’ there is no pandemic, but there is extreme sickness and death due to all the state’s mandates that generate mass fear, and decimate our immune systems.
The government’s fascist partnerships with the pharmaceutical industry, the military industrial complex, the tax-free foundations, the technology giants, and their control over all monetary policy, have allowed these few evil tyrants the ability to capture and terrorize over 300 million people in this country, and nearly 8 billion around the world. If this sounds as ludicrous to you as it does to me, then maybe instead of voluntarily being an obedient slave, you will have an awakening, and finally decide to protect yourself and your family from this marauding scourge called government. Things will never change unless you change them!
I recently discovered this chiropractor on YouTube, Dr. Livingood. Yes, that’s his real name! Here he presents an unbiased, rational view of the vaccines and what do about its effects. There are many, as you know, and a growing number of sufferers and deaths.
I am particularly interested in the PCR test. I had three of them a few months ago and I believe I am suffering from an acceleration of its effects. (no vaccines) It’s been said by one, Dr. Judy Miscovits and Gene DeCode that the test contains the vaccine (so called, of course) So I am doing everything I possibly can to run the poison out of my system. It’s been quite debilitating.
I’m working on gathering the discipline to do a three day water fast which he recommends – along with bone broth and some vegetable juice. I’m also trying MMS which has been falsely labeled as dangerous because it works so well and safely for years, originally a very successful cure for malaria and now has many success stories about other ailments.
YouTube has been so suppressive that I couldn’t find any positive videos on MMS as I used to years ago. You can buy it on Amazon but don’t be discouraged that it only says it’s for water purification. Legally, they cannot say you can drink it. Someday we will regain our First Amendment and all the others in our brilliant Constitution.
Let me emphasize that MMS does not cure. It simply allows the body to cure itself – the only true way to heal and as Hippocrates says: “Let food be my medicine and medicine be thy food”. I concentrate heavily on my plant-based diet. And I drink lots of water!
I highly recommend this seller of MMS and many other health products Reiki Ranch Store – Alternative Health I mistakenly called at 6 AM (9 where I live) He mentioned the time but graciously answered my questions with no complaints. The next day I called at a decent hour with another question and spoke to his sweet wife; she talked to me for a long while. This is literally a mom and pop shop. I wanted to call back just to talk to them. Aren’t we starving for this kind of communication? Along with hugs?
I’m also waiting to receive Nano Soma which is purported to rid the body of the vaccines. We’ll see. If you’re interested, I’ll let you know. They’re on back order so I don’t know when I will get it. Here’s the video on it and link to buy it:
There is always an answer to any problem or disaster. I keep searching with my mind and heart bent on high survival, not just food, water and shelter. It may seem at this moment in time that this is all we can have but we need to keep our eyes on the highest mountain, the one where you place your firm decision to be super happy, healthy and free for yourself, your friends and family and the world.
Personally, I imagine Trump’s smiling face back in the White House, all the criminals arrested and the world flourishing. Maybe you call it a pipe dream but that phrase is often a misnomer for true creativity. And it sure calms me down, gives me a future.
It’s time folks, it really is. Don’t waste the limited time we have left to rid this planet of the poisons of the cabal and all their minions. The vaccines are quite possibly the worst threat to our lives and the entire planet. But even more important is to keep your mindset above water. The only things to come into being are those you decide will be so. That’s the jumping off point.
As many have said, we are powerful spiritual beings. We just need to know that we are and BE THAT. Take advantage of some quiet, still moments and discover who and what you are and what you’re made of – tough stuff.
Love and strength to all the true patriots in this world.
Is the USA going to collapse? Nobody can say. There are a few things that could cause a collapse, but who knows if any of them will?
What we can be sure of, though, is that if a crisis comes it won’t affect the whole country equally.
If one of the doomsday scenarios preppers fear happens, even if it’s a national event the effects will hit some places sooner, and harder, than others.
Some states will collapse almost immediately, and things there could get very bad, very quickly. Other states will hold up better, and even if they do completely collapse the process will be slower, giving people time to prepare, adapt and survive.
If you want to maximize your chances of making it through a crisis you need to know what states to avoid. Here are the top five:
California
This one probably won’t surprise anyone. California is famously vulnerable to natural disasters – earthquakes and wildfires are common, and huge parts of the state are vulnerable to tsunamis as well – but that’s only half the problem. California has some other massive vulnerabilities, too.
For a start, it’s densely populated. Compared to the likes of New Jersey or Rhode Island it isn’t that densely populated – it ranks 17th in the nation – but a combination of relatively high density and very high population makes it very vulnerable.
California’s big cities are incredibly reliant on supplies from outside. San Diego and Los Angeles bring in up to 90% of their water from Northern California; if the infrastructure that carries that water breaks down (and it isn’t in any better shape than the rest of our infrastructure) the cities will collapse into chaos within days.
San Francisco is a lot smaller and has a cooler, wetter climate, but it isn’t in the clear either. Over 85% of the Bay Area’s water comes from the Hetch Hetchy Valley in the Yosemite National Park, 150 miles to the east, and if that stops flowing San Francisco will be just as screwed as the big cities.
California isn’t helped by the fact it’s such an obvious target for attackers.
Silicon Valley and the San Francisco area is the center of the global tech industry; an EMP attack on California is a quick and easy way to devastate the US economy – but it would also cause a rapid and massive collapse as the bankrupt state’s crumbling infrastructure simply broke under the impact.
Florida
Florida’s politics might be different to California’s, but unfortunately, its vulnerability to collapse is similar.
It also suffers a lot of natural disasters – hurricanes, this time – and it’s also densely populated. In fact, Florida’s people are packed in a lot more densely than California’s, although that’s balanced by the fact there aren’t as many of them.
Like California, Florida is highly urbanized – about 92% of Floridians live in an urban area. That makes them very dependent on outside supplies that probably won’t come in a crisis, and as the old saying goes, civilization is never more than three missed meals from anarchy.
If disaster hits, life in Florida is going to get ugly in a hurry.
Alaska
You’re probably wondering what Alaska is doing on the list. After all, it’s about as unlike highly urbanized California as you can get.
Alaskans are self-sufficient, many of them hunt and they don’t rely on vulnerable infrastructure for such basic necessities as water.
Unfortunately, Alaska does rely on imports of some other necessities, with gasoline and heating oil being the most important. It also buys in most of its processed food and almost all its manufactured goods.
And, while Alaskans can easily supplement their diet by hunting and fishing, farming is another story.
A harsh climate and short growing season mean the state is nowhere near self-sufficient in grains, fruit and vegetables, and true self-sufficiency is pretty hard to achieve.
Alaska might not be torn apart by urban riots in the first days of a crisis, but it will still collapse within weeks as food stocks run down and gas disappears.
Hawaii
All the things that count against Alaska also count against Hawaii, and there are a couple of other issues, too.
While Hawaii has more agriculture than Alaska, the biggest crops are sugarcane and pineapples – not exactly staple foods. The climate means it’s a bit more feasible to grow your own food there, but on the downside, land is scarce and expensive.
Hawaii is also heavily urbanized, with almost 92% of the population living in cities. Like California or Florida, as soon as supplies from out of state stop arriving those cities will collapse fast and hard.
There’s another serious problem with Hawaii, too – it’s an island chain in the middle of the Pacific. At least if you’re in Alaska when the collapse comes you can get to Canada. If you’re in Hawaii, plan on being there for a long, long time.
New York
If the power goes off and supplies of food and water stop coming, the Big Apple will rot in a hurry.
The state of New York contains the USA’s most populous city, over eight million people with basically no ability to be self-sufficient.
While New York does have some agriculture, including a lot of basic foods – the state is the largest cabbage producer in the country, for example – in a crisis not much of that food is going to make it into the city, so you can expect hungry mobs to fan out into the rural parts of the state looking for food.
Along with the city’s already high crime levels, the collapse of New York is going to be fast and brutal.
The Alternatives
If you live in one of these collapse-prone states, the best advice is to be ready to bug out as fast and as far as you can.
The ideal solution is to move to a more rural state where any collapse will be slower and less violent, giving you time to adjust to the new normal.
The Great Plains states are a good choice – large, sparsely populated and heavily agricultural.
It’s easy to be self-sufficient there, and you’re a long way from the chaos that will erupt when America’s helpless cities start to starve.
The United States economy is looking shakier than it has looked since 2009, when we had the housing crash, bringing about the “Great Recession.”
There has been a constant specter of a financial collapse over the country since then, with one financial guru or another predicting that coming collapse.
But now things are looking much shakier, as the economy finally reacts to the effects of the pandemic. Thousands of small businesses are closed for good and a number of major chains seem to be following in their wake.
Unemployment is slowly coming down from the high in 2020, but some of the relief efforts that the government has taken are making it hard to get people back on the job.
Why Is That So?
On top of all that, the trillions of dollars that Congress has borrowed from the Federal Reserve Bank, essentially creating money out of thin air is starting to cause a very predictable rise in inflation, which in turn is likely to push us into a recession.
This can have serious repercussions for us all. Not only does it inflation affect our buying power, with our disposable income not going as far; but it also affects investments. Whatever value you or I might have in any current investments, is going to go down, even if the apparent cash value might go up.
But what does up mean, if everything else costs more?
You Might Have Investments You Don’t Know About
What’s that? You don’t think you have any investments? Do you have a retirement account with your employer?
Then you have investments. It’s probably in the form of a 401K, which is used by many companies so that you can take whatever retirement funds you’ve accrued from one job to another, helping ensure that you will have something more than Social Security to live on when you reach retirement age.
With that being the case, any negative pressure on the economy and especially any recession is going to result in a negative effect on your retirement.
You may not see it directly right now; but when the time comes for your annual review of your retirement account, you’ll probably see that you’re not going to get as much when you retire, as you thought you would.
That trend is likely to continue, as long as inflation is on the rise and/or the economy is likely to go into recession. At this point in time, there’s really no way of knowing just how long this is going to last.
But what can you do? Those retirement funds are normally managed by professionals, with you not having any direct contact with them or control over how they are invested. Or do you? Are there things that you can do with that money, which still meets the requirements of the law, but protects your investment at the same time?
The answer to that question is yes. While we don’t always have the option of making specific decisions on specific investments, most of these retirement accounts do allow us to choose between a variety of different investment “tracks.” Then, of course, any money we have invested in our 401K from previous employers is ours, giving us a whole lot more control. The question then, is just what to do?
Recession-Proof Investments to Consider
Fortunately, there are some investments which are pretty much recession-proof.
Knowing which those are gives you the opportunity to make wise decisions in how your 401K is invested. Considering how shaky the economy is at this time, that’s something I wouldn’t waste time on doing.
The first rule here is to look for safe investments.
That means forgoing those with a high yield, in place of those which are considered steady. The 3.76% yield on 10-year Treasury notes may not seem like a very good investment, it’s a whole lot better than losing 10%.
Bonds are usually considered one of the safest investments on the market.
US Savings Bonds, Municipal Bonds and other bonds issued by government entities may not pay high-interest rates, but those entities are highly likely to pay back whatever money they borrow. An investment portfolio made largely of bonds may not seem exciting, but it is secure.
Conservative Investment Funds
There are also other conservative investment funds around, such as Money Market funds.
These fall on the low-yield end of the spectrum as well, especially when compared to any sort of junk bonds.
While the junk bonds typically have a higher interest rate, there’s also a chance of them defaulting during a time of recession, leaving you with 10 cents on the dollar.
Another rather solid investment is utilities, especially the energy sector.
Again, this isn’t the place to make a killing on the Stock Market, as these companies don’t generate new products that can boost the value of their stock. But they are solid, stable investments, which also usually pay dividends.
Dividend Stocks
Perhaps one of the least understood ways of getting the most out of your investment dollar is dividend stocks. These are stocks that pay out a dividend quarterly or annually. The key here is to set it up so that those dividends are automatically reinvested, increasing your portfolio size.
While that cash might be nice to have right now, so that you can buy that new car or big-screen TV, it’s better to build your retirement, so that you’ll have that money when you really need it.
Precious Metals
Finally, don’t forget about precious metals.
If there’s anything that can be said to be a sure thing in the investment world, it’s that when the value of the dollar drops, the value of gold and silver goes up. While you probably can’t invest in actual gold ingots, coins and bars as part of your 401K, there are still ways of investing in precious metals, including in futures.
Think About the Long Term
Remember that the economy tends to be cyclical, although it’s not a cycle that can easily be predicted.
Even so, short-term dips in your investments can be survived, when you look at the long-term.
So don’t panic and try to sell out if you see something going down. Rather, ride it out and wait for better financial times.
Your investment will most likely grow again, giving you the money you need for retirement.
“Your good, careful people of the villages are the thieves of virtue.” Confucius, The Analects, 17.
“They agree with the current customs. They consent with an impure age. Their principles only appear to be right-heartedness and truth. Their conduct only appears to be disinterestedness and purity. All men are pleased with them, and they deem themselves to be right. But one cannot proceed with them to the principles of [the moral exemplars]. For this reason they are called “The thieves of virtue.” D.C. Lau, Mencius (1970)[1]
One of the surest hallmarks of a cultural death spiral is omnipresent anomie and the universal deadening of the capacity to experience shock. Everything in culture becomes repetitive and suffocatingly numb. I was reminded of this back in June when a friend sent me a video from Wi Spa, a Korean spa in Los Angeles that played host to a controversy when a Black female customer complained without success that customers, including children, were being exposed to the penis of a naked transsexual in a female changing area. While some left-wing sources are now claiming that the Black woman was a Christian conservative who fabricated the complaint, the truth of the matter remains unclear. In any case, the footage was, to me, not remarkable for the allegations (now becoming all too real and predictable regardless of what really happened at Wi Spa), nor the attitude of the Black woman, or even the robotic and dismissive attitude of the staff, but rather for the intervention of a White Beta male who played the role of the quintessential Social Justice Warrior. This man insisted to the Black complainant that females could have a penis, showed total disregard for the children involved in the complaint, and did his utmost to rhetorically strut and preen in the manner of some kind of moralistic human peacock; maintaining one eye on the Black female while employing the other to scan the watching crowd for admiring gazes. The spectacle, sickening for so very many reasons, was all the more perverse for this sideshow.
The reasons behind behavior like this are not mysterious. There is a strong element of self-interest and a flow of social incentives for ‘woke’ behavior. A lot of people engage in ‘social justice’ interventions, both online and “in the real world,” because they hope for social, financial, and professional rewards. In the same way that very many people in the age of the smartphone now fear being recorded and made viral as a new racist “Karen,” there are a great many people who want to go viral as an anti-racist social hero.
While punishment for racism is permanent and perpetual, however, the rewards of anti-racism are merely fleeting and superfluous. The System expects everyone to be anti-racist and open to sexual deviance, and so the greatest reward it bestows is not to share its riches or status, reserved only for the elites and a handful of celebrity anti-racists, but instead to offer the common compliant man only the quiet relief of not being seen as antithetical to the hegemonic values of multiculturalism. In this sense, we deal not so much with the carrot and the stick, as the idea that the “carrot” is nothing more than a temporary and conditional avoidance of the stick.
To put it another way, one is anti-racist and woke purely and simply in order to avoid being categorized by the System as racist and bigoted. Among yet others (the “vicar’s daughters-types” once described so vividly by Jonathan Bowden), there is an element of pathological altruism. In these cases, we confront the dim-witted and naive, the prototypes of Dostoevsky’s The Idiot, but without that novel’s protagonist’s charm and redeeming qualities. Combined, these various types of White social justice moralist (the career climber, the fashion follower, the socially anxious, and the painfully naive) are fatal to all right-thinking, and are a major accelerator of decline.
So much, then, for explaining why people behave this way. But what are the moral mechanics at work, and how does this behavior impact matters on a wider social level? During some recent reading of Eastern philosophy, I encountered an interesting concept that might deserve at least some attention — the Confucian idea of the “thieves of virtue” or fake moralists. Confucius (551–479 BC) is an interesting figure for the consideration of White moral social justice trends because he was a traditionalist of his era and because he had a particular interest in the search for moral values in a rapidly changing social context. As such, he made a valuable contribution to developing a distinction between what could be seen as merely popularly moral and what was genuinely moral and sincere.
Confucius and Social Virtue
It’s worth briefly explaining who this ancient Chinese philosopher was, before suggesting why he might have some ideas even remotely applicable to contemporary Whites. Confucius was known in his lifetime as Kong Fuzi, or Master Kong. He was a court scholar who occupied, through a relatively novel meritocratic process, a position not unlike modern civil servants. Confucius sought to integrate the new meritocratic developments of ancient China into old ideals and traditions, and this effort to synthesize the old and the new led to his quest to develop a new moral philosophy with direct social implications. Despite the introduction of meritocracy and the partial replacement of aristocracy, Confucius was opposed to egalitarianism and upheld a strong belief in hierarchy and an innate inequality between men. Deep nobility (junzi) and virtue (de) could, however, be found throughout the hierarchy. If a lowly peasant understood and fully embraced his role within it, for example, he was no less virtuous and valuable than the man at top of the social pyramid. Everyone in the folk community had an important role to play. In this sense, his philosophy is a kind of national socialism, which stressed the ultimate importance of the community over social class. The social pyramid itself was made cohesive and coherent through the Five Constant Relationships: Sovereign-Subject; Parent-Child; Husband-Wife; Elder Sibling-Younger Sibling; and Friend-Friend. It should be pointed out, if it isn’t already obvious, that there is no room for the stranger or the foreigner in this scheme of social obligation and ritual.
Social obligation was itself made manifest through demonstrations of Li, which could be roughly translated as ‘justice,’ but could be more accurately described as ritual propriety. One encountered Li in ancestor worship, at weddings, at funerals, when giving or receiving gifts, and in everyday gestures of politeness such as bowing and using the correct mode of dress. These outwards signs were intended to reflected inner virtue, but only truly did so when performed with sincerity. It was sincerity, along with faithfulness and self-reflection, that really pointed to the genuinely moral and virtuous man.
Thieves of Virtue
The opinions of Confucius on those who merely perform Li without possessing inner virtue are found in the Analects, a collection of fragments of his writings and sayings compiled by his disciples. The Analects together comprise a predominantly political treatise, but the collection is also made up of aphorisms and anecdotes. In section 17 of the Analects, Confucius refers to “village worthies (xiang yuan 鄉愿)” and compares their empty moralism to “assuming a severe expression while being weak inside” and breaking into a home and committing burglary. The “worthy” exterior of the village moralists is thus stolen or unmerited. They are in fact hypocrites who, while critiquing all that is “bad,” are themselves utterly devoid of virtue.
If Confucius’s critique of these “village worthies” was solely limited to their hypocrisy then there would be limited value in applying his critique to contemporary White social justice moralists. We know full well that the majority of White self-styled anti-racists and woke activists are hypocrites. We know that most wealthy White multiculturalists do their very best to have their children educated in predominantly White schools, and to raise their families in predominantly White neighborhoods. The vast majority of people outwardly saying they’re fine with gay marriage and the widespread acceptance of transsexualism secretly hope their children don’t turn out that way. In an era in which pro-diversity propaganda is peaking—with no mainstream dissent, the fact remains that Whites are continuing to quietly self-segregate as much as their resources will allow. We live in an age where everyone proclaims the benefits of diversity while doing their very best to avoid it. Hypocrisy is endemic, and it is obvious.
But Confucius goes deeper than hypocrisy in his criticism of the village worthies, the ‘woke’ types of his era, stressing their role in the development of a kind of moral-social cancer that is catastrophic to national culture. In fact, Confucius’s most pointed critique isn’t that the village worthies wear masks, but that there is nothing to mask. They lack all sense of identity, possess no ideology, and are nothing more than chameleons who take on whatever face is considered attractive or laudable by the elites they want to appeal to.[2] In this sense, when considering our contemporary White social justice moralists (the career climber, the fashion follower, the socially anxious, and the painfully naive), all can be subsumed under the title of “village worthies” who are “thieves of virtue.” All of them are fundamentally empty persons without authentic identity. A similar contemporary pop culture reference point would be the NPC (Non-Playable Character) meme developed by gamers to describe those who, like the background figures in video games, possess no agency or capacity for independent thought. Winnie Sung, commenting on this element of the Analects, writes:
The appearance-only hypocrite, such as Confucius’ village worthies, puts us in a special predicament. For someone who does not wear a mask cannot be unmasked. … There is nothing that we can expose when it comes to the village worthies because there is nothing underneath.[3]
This is particularity egregious for Confucius because identity is a foundation of integrity. The person of integrity is someone who preserves a sense of what identifies the person as essentially the person they are. Or, to put it another way, you need to understand yourself and who you are before you can claim that “you” stand for anything, let alone something as lofty as moral values. Someone who denies their own heritage, ethnic origins, and identity cannot sincerely proclaim any moral values because these values are not rooted in their own identity and are therefore both artificial and adopted. Sung writes:
Assuming that having identifications is necessary for having an identity, since the village worthies do not have their own identifications, we cannot say what kind of person they really are. They do not have anything that they actually identify with, and hence do not have what is truly theirs. We cannot in their case say that there is any break between their practices and their true identity. The village worthies lack integrity not in the sense where one’s identity is corrupted or concealed but because they do not even have their own identifications.[4]
Popular Moralism as Social Cancer
Accompanying instinctive self-segregation, there is an almost contradictory rise in culturally deracinated Whites keen to outwardly disavow the White past and condemn the White present. While the animosities of non-White ethnic groups can be easily understood in the context of inter-ethnic competition and their construction of past suffering at the hands of Whites (e.g., the lachrymose view of Jewish history common among Jews), White complicity in this process remains one of the strongest barriers to mounting a successful challenge against multiculturalism and multiracialism in the West. For Confucius, one of the most galling aspects of this behavior would be the tendency among some Whites to proclaim their status as a “White anti-racist” dedicated to spreading their ideology among other Whites. Confucius would object to such a self-designation, pointing out that such people are already devoid of any sense of White identity or what it means to be White, and that their interventions are thus inherently lacking in integrity and are essentially meaningless. There is thus no real “White anti-racism” but instead a phenomenon wherein empty persons mimic foreign ideas.
Because it is unnatural to loathe one’s own group and identity, when Whites adopt anti-White or anti-racist positions, they are simply reflecting the values of others, particularly oppositional elites. Unfortunately, such behavior can become endemic because “village worthies,” “thieves of virtue,” or NPCs have an endless capacity to mimic fashion. Sung comments:
At a larger scale, Confucius thinks that the presence of people who have no identity of their own, and merely reflect others’ values, is a threat to the moral system. Mencius quotes Confucius as saying: ‘Confucius said, “I detest what is specious. I detest the foxtail for fear it should pass for seedlings. I detest flattery for fear it should pass for what is right. I detest glibness for fear it should pass for the truthful. … I detest purple for fear it should pass for vermilion. I detest the village worthy for fear he should pass for the virtuous.” Just like the color purple (which closely resembles vermillion) easily confuses people and misleads people in their choice, the village worthies, who look just like the virtuous people according to our current conceptions and appear attractive to the audience, easily confuse their audience and mislead the audience to think that they have the more attractive character than the genuinely virtuous people. The village worthies will pretend to have moral qualities that appeal to their audience, and will not pretend to have moral qualities that do not appeal to their audience. Hence, the village worthies will never fail a moral test from the perspective of their audience. Although a small group of genuinely virtuous people might be able to detect the village worthies’ hypocrisy, they will not be able to convince the village worthies’ audience that these seemingly gracious and attractive people are not what they appear.
Social Justice versus Authentic Justice
A formidable obstacle to forming a challenge to the multicultural status quo is the idea that such a challenge is inherently immoral. This is an idea that began with ethnically alien intellectuals and activists who have an obvious self-interest in promoting it. Then, gradually, and with increasing frequency following World War II, the idea was seeded among leading White “village worthies” (politicians, academics, cultural figures) until it reached critical cultural saturation. Accompanying ideas were then also inserted into social fashion, including the notion that any defense of White ethnic interests is immoral. The result has been exactly as Confucius predicted — a wholesale threat to the true moral order. Today, only a dwindling number of representatives of junzi remain in the West, the “small group of genuinely virtuous people” capable of detecting the hypocrisy and false moralism of the age. This is the group which roots its integrity in its identity, and doesn’t feel the need to conceal the fact that its values are based in ethnic self-interest. Like the junzi of Confucius’s time, this small core of authentically moral people are unable to convince the masses that the village worthies—these “seemingly gracious and attractive people” with their allegedly impeccable morals—are not what they appear.
And yet our morality is evidently both genuine and of an especially high type. One of the most important aspects of Li is a sense of what we in the West call “equity.” This is the idea that we should not necessarily follow the letter of the law, but the spirit of it. We don’t automatically reach for the punishment for theft, but try at least to take into consideration why the theft took place when considering the sentence. Inherent in equity is a sense of the dualism of man — the idea the Man is never entirely good, nor entirely bad. A good judge, aware of his own failings as a human, will seek the most humane punishment or resolution to a legal case. In the Western tradition, equity begins in antiquity with the writings of Aristotle (epieikeia) and with Roman law (aequitas), and it is also a strong element (if not the strongest) in Christianity, which critiques Man as a sinner but rejects the rule of Mosaic law (despite the baffling claim of Matthew 5:17) and proclaims the possibility of Man’s capacity for Good and his ultimate redemption. Equity is also strongly evident in the ancient writings of the Chinese, and in the dualist religions of the Indian sub-Continent and the Far East, especially Buddhism. All such instances contrast with the Judaic/Islamic worldview, which lacks equity and sees law (Torah-Shariah) as an end in itself. It should be noted that the Judaic worldview, which makes categorical moral demands, is especially conducive to the development of “village worthies” and “thieves of virtue.”
White social justice moralists lack equity and deny their own dual natures. One would think, given their many lofty proclamations, that one is dealing with saints. And yet it is commonplace to discover that this or that anti-racist politician or activist is corrupt, a pervert, a child abuser, a slanderer, or some other form of human pond scum. These people, riddled with all kinds of neuroses and obsessions, cling to anti-racism like a life raft, finding in it at least one meagre chance of passing themselves off as “good people.”
Anti-racism, it might be said, is the moral band-aid of our age, covering a multitude of sins. Confucius, on the other hand, would see “racism,” or the seeking of one’s own ethnic interests, as moral to the extent that it proceeds from tradition, from identity, and from the integrity bestowed by both. For Confucius, a war of conquest contains an honesty that a professed moral crusade does not. He would have little patience for contemporary hand-wringing about past European conquests or enslaving Africans. How can one proclaim selflessness when proclaiming selflessness brings one social rewards that benefit the self? Confucius compared this delusion of morality to banging a drum in search of a fugitive—those most loudly bleating about moral matters will always find that true morality eludes them. The man who seeks after his community’s material interests, on the other hand, will be sated by securing them and will not entertain self-delusion. His desires are universal, predicable, and capable of satisfaction. The posturing moralist, or “thief of virtue,” on the other hand, is a true annihilator, since he will not rest until his fashionable worldview, in all its banality, is universally imposed. In this view, Genghis Khan is the moral superior to Moses, and infinitely less dangerous to social order.
Conclusion
Confucius’s perspective on community morality offers a nuanced and interesting perspective on some of the troubling issues confronting Western societies today, especially the total dominance of multiculturalism and Leftism in moral discourse. One of the major problems confronting movements for the defense of White interests is the culturally ubiquitous idea that such a defense is intrinsically immoral, and this idea has advanced to such a degree that several forms of defending White interests have been criminalized. Confucius’s concept of the “thieves of virtue” undermines the claims of this mass false morality and points out that fashion and conformity can smother authentic virtue and morals. We live in an age when most Whites lack identity, and thus integrity, and we have witnessed a kind of mass chameleon effect where the goals of foreign elites are mimicked and parroted for short-term personal relief or reward. This is a threat to the authentic moral system—a system which derives its morality from tradition and identity. It is moral and a demonstration of virtue and nobility to defend and expand upon one’s ethnic interests. The man who claims instead to be a world citizen, or to love everyone, is a liar. Such a man is a thief of virtue.
