Food Confiscation: How to protect your food stores and production from government confiscation:My first rule comes from the movie ‘Fight Club’ Don’t talk about your food production and storage.

Did you know that if you have even a small subsistence farm to grow and or raise food for your family it all could be confiscated. Did you know the government is currently trying to identify and register all food producers to support this goal? Whether you are aware or not, at any time the president deems necessary, the US can now confiscate key resources in the name of national security. In particular, the food you worked hard to grow or raise could be seized. Naturally, it makes no sense to spend your time and money developing a farming capability to insulate your family from hard times only to have it seized. By following a few basic rules, you can help to protect your food supply and ensure those that helped cause the collapse and refused to prepare aren’t fed on your watch.

President Obama also nationalized our nation’s food supply through executive order. This executive order effectively orders the heads of various agencies to include the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to identify critical resources under their purview and develop policies on how to ensure their production and procurement during national emergencies. As with most government regulation, this order on the surface doesn’t sound too draconian. However, the devil is in the details regarding its implementation. In order for the USDA to “secure” the US food supply, it becomes necessary to identify everyone involved in food production. Once identified, then upon order, the USDA can send nationalized goon squads to confiscate any and all “critical resources” deemed necessary for national security. National security may very soon include declaring “preppers” “extremists and depriving them of their stores of food. In this particular case, it could involve your entire crop.

Doubt this affects you? Consider this, if you live in North Carolina, you must register with the state if you have even one chicken. This is ostensibly being done to rapidly inform, monitor, and protect the state’s poultry farmers from avian flu strains. However, as soon as anyone in government starts talking about “protecting” anything, one should suspect subterfuge. In this case, the government suddenly feels that you must be forced to “register” even if you have one chicken. By the government’s own admission, small isolated flocks have almost no risk to catching or passing the current avian flu strains due to their lack of ability to intermingle with wild waterfowl and then spread the virus to other birds. As such, one must consider alternative reasons the government feels that it is necessary to pry so deeply into private citizens’ lives. I would entertain the government’s arguments if they were focused solely on large commercial poultry farms, but they are not. This North Carolina regulation targets even an owner of a single bird as a pet and as such, is far too broad to be considered justifiable. However, when considering the quiet push behind the scenes by the USDA to identify all food producers, it makes much more sense.

You may be thinking that North Carolina is an isolated incident or that this is only applicable to poultry, but it is not. Let’s look at Wisconsin, which now “mandates” livestock premises registration. Again, as in North Carolina, if the regulation was solely focused on large scale livestock operations, it could be justifiable for the monitoring and tracking of disease. However, just like in North Carolina, this applies to even the smallest of hobby farms and in fact applies to anyone that has even one animal. It is also completely unnecessary. Just like the family that has a few chickens as pets in North Carolina, the family in Wisconsin with a pot belly big or rabbits do not pose any demonstrated increased risk to the livestock of the state. As such, once again, the trend supports a motive more indicative of complete registration and tracking of “all” food resources vice monitoring and mitigation of livestock diseases. Wisconsin isn’t alone. Both Michigan and Indiana also mandate registration of “any” livestock of any number being kept anywhere. Digging a bit deeper, the state link to the USDA policy of registration, monitoring, and tracking of all livestock (under the guise of tracking infectious disease) becomes very clear. In fact, the Council of State Governments blatantly tells us the states are in fact tracking all farms and livestock at the behest of the USDA.

Again, I recognize that skeptics will assert these are nothing more than well intentioned regulations being taken out of context and that they would need to see more specific evidence. To rebut their arguments, I could write volumes about the numerous new government regulations relating to heirloom seeds, animal and plant propagation, food storage, small gardens, raw foods, off-grid living, and water rights. When these regulations are considered in their entirety they form a powerful body of evidence that supports my assertion the government is building a broad database to use in the event it decides to confiscate food. However, the willfully ignorant and blind supporters of government tyranny are not of my concern. No amount of “evidence” will overcome their cognitive dissonance. My concern is to warn and inform those of you amongst us that have proven immune to brain washing and still have free thinking independent minds. Therefore, the fact remains that there is a growing trend at both the federal and state level of forcing everyone with live stock, orchards, gardens, etc. to register with the government. Once this database is complete, the government will no doubt use it to extract taxes and fees, conduct inspections and raids, and ultimately, should the need arise, confiscate your food. To prevent mitigate possible confiscation attempts from both government agents and looters; one should consider employing my four rules of food security.
Living without power, cars, electronics or running water may seem like a nightmare scenario but to pioneers it was just the way life was. Having the skills to survive without modern conveniences is not only smart in case SHTF, it’s also great for the environment. Keep in mind that the key to a successful homestead does not only lie on being able to grow your own food but on other skills as well. Learning these skills will take time, patience and perseverance, and not all of these skills are applicable to certain situations. Hopefully, though, you managed to pick up some great ideas that will inspire you and get you started! Just like our forefathers used to do,  The Lost Ways Book teaches you how you can survive in the worst-case scenario with the minimum resources available. It comes as a step-by-step guide accompanied by pictures and teaches you how to use basic ingredients to make super-food for your loved ones.

My first rule comes from the movie “Fight Club.” Don’t talk about your food production and storage. Although it may be obvious to neighbors you garden or raise a small amount of livestock such as hogs and poultry for personal consumption, the broader public doesn’t need to know. Continuing with that point, how much food you put up for long term storage and where it is stored should never be an open topic of discussion. Let them think you have nothing in food stores even if that means using disinformation.

My second rule is to disperse your food stockpiles using food caches. If you have stored adequate amounts of food for your family properly, even a complete confiscation of your current harvest shouldn’t push you to food lines and soup kitchens. Just like with firearms, don’t store your food all in one place. Food preserved properly can be cached in the ground just like most anything else and store literally for years. In fact, well camouflaged in-ground storage areas similar to mini-root cellars are excellent places to store food. Just make sure you don’t mix foods like apples and potatoes, which will cause the other to go bad quickly in your food cache. The simplest of these food caches can be constructed by digging a hole below the frost line big enough to store what you want. Then load your cache, cover it with a board, add a layer of insulation, and cover it with a layer of dirt (dirt alone can be used to cover and insulate). To finish it, camouflage the cache site any remove traces of a trail to it. I favor using a technique where you cache a mixed bundle of food stuffs capable of supporting the basic nutritional needs of your family for a month. This method allows a cache to remain undisturbed until you actually are going to use it and includes all of your food staples. It also justifies the investment of energy making the site.

My third rule requires developing the skills to identify and use wild and edible plants. As I have written many times about any government bureaucrat with an accompanying goon squad or looter can identify a cellar of potatoes and a field of corn. However, very few will ever be able to recognize wild spinach, pokeweed, dandelions, chicory, huckleberries, and common milk weed as “food.” In fact, most will walk right past these tasty, super-nutritious wild plants assuming them to be weeds in a fallow field you didn’t plant this year. Further, even if they recognize them as potentially being cultivated, they wouldn’t have enough sense or knowledge to know when to pick them, what parts to pick, and how to prepare them without potentially poisoning themselves. Like the bureaucrats and looters though, if you don’t study this knowledge on your own, you will not be capable of employing this critical food security technique. I find that the best way to employ this technique is in a deliberate fashion. Leave small plots of your garden or fields to appear “fallow,” but in reality, plant these plots with a natural mix of wild edibles. This requires you to collect the seeds from various edible plants the season before and store them in a cool, dark, dry location. In the spring, till up the soil in that plot, mix the wild seeds, and broadcast them throughout the fresh soil. Then lightly cover the seeds and allow nature to do its work. The plot will grow up appearing as if it is a natural mix of weeds typical of any fallow field or recently disturbed ground, but in reality will be a dense mix of mutually supporting edible plants that require little to no further gardening. In fact, the yield may far exceed the yields of your cultivated plant species, will naturally choke out undesirable weeds, and require no additional work aside from harvesting. I apply the same basic concept to my fruit and nut trees. Naturally, having an orchard setting is smart, but also intentionally plant Black Walnut, Butternut, various hickory, apple, pear, plum, and pawpaw trees throughout your property and forest. These trees will also blend in to the natural flora and an untrained eye will never be able to pick them out as fruit and nut bearing trees outside of an orchard setting. Respective of livestock, one faces more difficult challenges keeping their existence hidden. One technique to leverage is to raise free range animals, which are difficult to completely account for and round up. In the event of an inspection, theft, or confiscation, it is unlikely that without the owners help, the offender will be able to locate and completely coral and capture all of the free range livestock. For animals such as ducks and chickens, this can be accomplished pretty easily; especially, if non-traditional coups are used and they are dispersed throughout the property. However, with grazing livestock and hogs, a fence must be used to limit their range. Still though, with enough property, one can let their animals roam as they graze and forage like the old cattle ranchers of the West. Ultimately, if confiscations were to begin, one could simply release their livestock to become feral and be hunted rather than allowing their livestock to be stolen or seized.

My fourth rule is to register absolutely nothing unless you absolutely have to. Whether or not you choose to comply with government regulations is a matter you must individually assess and decide upon. If registering your farm, livestock, or garden isn’t mandatory, this is a no brainer…don’t. However, when it becomes “mandatory,” one must consider the pros and cons. For example, maybe it is best if you just register “some” of your livestock to give legitimacy to your farming operation, but not draw unnecessary attention from authorities. Maybe you simply want no trouble and are willing to risk confiscation so you comply 100%. Maybe the risks are not the issue and you decide that your moral and ethical code to resist encroaching tyranny at all opportunities is more important so you register nothing. I cannot make this decision for you, but you must make it. Either way, my first three rules are designed to work equally well whether or not you decide to comply when the time comes.

In summary, the USDA working in conjunction with the military and the Department of Homeland Security have set in motion plans to identify and track all critical resources in this country to include food. The impact of this could mean that in a time of crisis, if the government deems it necessary, it will confiscate your food. To ensure your food security, I have provided you four basic rules to follow that will help you cache your food, diversify your crops, and provide for better overall food security in the face of looting or confiscation.

NewsBlog The Police and Military when SHTF – Friend or Armed Foe? Any police or military forces which were still in operation, would be there as part of whatever government managed to survive!

Preparing to survive in a post-SHTF world is challenging. More than anything, we have to realize that we’re preparing blind. We don’t know what sort of disaster we’re facing or what the post-disaster world is going to look like. With those two pieces of information missing, it’s hard to know exactly how people will react and what they will do. Therefore, we must prepare for the worst.

There is a wide-ranging assumption that public servants will abandon their posts. I would have to say that this assumption is totally unfair. We live in a hurricane zone and my wife is a city employee. She and her co-workers are required to agree that they will stay on the job, protecting the citizens of the city and keeping city services running, both during and after a hurricane. While a few might abandon their posts if things get bad enough, most seem to be people who will follow through on that requirement.

But what about a worst-case scenario? What about in the wake of an EMP or other grid-destroying event, which would result in a true breakdown of society and the banking system; a situation where they would no longer be paid to do their jobs?

That’s a difficult question. For some, like my wife, their positions probably wouldn’t exist anymore. But the real issue here is emergency workers and law enforcement officers. We would greatly need their services in the wake of such a serious disaster. Would they stay on the job or would they feel they had to abandon their posts to care for their families?

There’s really no way of knowing the answer to that question until the time comes. It is a very individual question, so I imagine that some will stay, while others leave. Whether they stay or leave will largely determine whether they are friend or foe.

If society collapses, you can bet that the foods the pioneers ate will become dietary staples

The Lost Ways prepares you to deal with worst-case scenarios with the minimum amount of resources just like our forefathers lived their lives, totally independent from electricity, cars, or modern technology.

So pay chose attention because this video will change your life forever for the good!

The Cops Who Stay on the Job

Police officers tend to be highly disciplined individuals, much like soldiers. In fact, many start out as soldiers, then move to law enforcement when they get out of the military. As such, they are largely people with a high regard for the law. Oh, there are the few bad apples; but despite stories saying otherwise, there aren’t many of them.

Those who stay on the job will be concerned with maintaining law and order in the worst of circumstances. They will also be subject to the politicians who are still in place over them. This means that if those politicians declare martial law, they will most likely enforce martial law, unless they believe that to be an unlawful order.

This could get sticky. As we saw during Hurricane Katrina, declaring martial law would probably mean they would be confiscating guns as well. That would put the police in the position of appearing to be the enemy in the eyes of any Second Amendment supporter. Whether or not they actually became an enemy would depend on how you, I and other gun owners would react to them. If we use force to reject their orders to turn over our guns, they will use force in response. That makes them our de-facto enemies.

The Cops Who Abandon their Posts

Some police officers may choose to abandon their posts, especially if they feel that their families are in danger. In that case, the question is what they will do to protect and care for their families. While there are very few bad cops out there, there is always the possibility that a cop will turn bad in such circumstances, out of desperation to take care of their families.

These people will be dangerous, because they will be able to present themselves to the public as law-enforcement officers, when in fact they are acting like criminals. There could even be some cases in smaller communities, where the police take over, much as warlords take over in times of anarchy. Should that happen, the police in question would be extremely dangerous.

It would be our duty, in such a case, to stand up against the police. But here’s the problem. How do you tell if what they are doing is in the public interest, or just in self-interest? If they are acting in the public interest, our duty is to support them, so we need to be sure they are the enemy, before treating them as such.

The National Guard

If military forces are called out to help gain control, it will be the National Guard, not the active military. US law prohibits the use of US military forces within the borders of the United States. Even if politicians in high places wanted to use the regular Army, it is doubtful that Army officers, all of whom know that prohibition in the law, would allow it.

But state Governors can call out the National Guard to help law enforcement in maintaining law and order. It’s not unusual for this to happen in the case of natural disasters. I would say that we should expect it to happen in a true SHTF scenario.

National Guard forces are US Army reserve soldiers and formations, which are “owned” by the governors of the several states. They serve a dual role, both as state owned military forces and reserves for the federal forces. If called out in a disaster situation, they could serve either to support law-enforcement or to provide disaster relief. In either case, they would be armed.

The Police and Military when SHTF – Friend or Armed Foe 2

Should martial law be declared, it is highly likely that the National Guard would be called out. If guns are confiscated, they are the ones who would most likely do the confiscation. They would probably be as polite as possible about it; but if they decided to obey that order, they would do their best to fulfill it.

However, the National Guard, like other military forces, is made up of predominantly conservatives. There’s a very good chance that they would refuse an order to disarm the population. Military officers swear an oath to uphold the Constitution and they would likely see the disarm order as a clear violation of the Second Amendment. As such, it would be their duty to refuse that order.

UN Troops

Of all these options, UN troops is the most dangerous. Any decision to use UN troops would have to be made at the federal government level. Were such a decision to be made, the troops which would be brought in to help maintain civil order would not be American troops. They would be unfamiliar with our culture (other than what they had seen in movies) and unfamiliar with our laws.

To these troops, a firearm confiscation order would seem perfectly reasonable, especially when you consider that they would probably come from a country where they don’t enjoy our Second Amendment protections. There would be no appeal to them on the grounds of our Constitution.

Should this happen, refusing an order to turn over your guns would be dangerous. The only thing that would protect any of us is the fact that there is no federal gun registration. Even so, there are states which require a permit to own guns, as well as concealed carry licenses which many of us have. That would give them a starting point for where to look.

Getting into a battle with armed troops is foolish. In such a situation, the only practical recourse is to hide all your guns where they won’t be able to find them, with the exception of a few, which you could then allow them to confiscate, making them think you’ve obeyed the order.

Regardless of the specific situation we would end up encountering, chances are that any police or military forces which were still in operation, would be there as part of whatever government managed to survive. Unless such forces decide to go rogue, we can count on them being there to help.

That doesn’t mean they’ll be our friends though. Unless you know them personally, they will look on you with suspicion, just like they will everyone else. Anyone carrying a weapon openly will be suspect. That doesn’t mean that they’ll hassle you, take away your weapons, fire upon you or arrest you; it just means that they will be watching to make sure that you aren’t a problem that they need to deal with.

The best thing you and I will be able to do in such a situation is to keep ourselves below the radar, so that we aren’t noticed. If we are not noticed, hopefully we will be left alone.

Should orders go out to confiscate any supplies that are stockpiled, it would probably be a good time to put our bug out plans into effect. Hopefully, we’ll all have a cache of supplies elsewhere, so that when we lose the supplies that we have stockpiled at home, we’ll still be okay.

On December 6th President Trump’s words shook the world.

For the first time in over 2000 years, Jerusalem was recognized as the capital of Israel.

Whether he knows it or not, President Trump fulfilled his part in a frightening biblical prophecy exactly as the scriptures predicted.

Only the top church leaders and Bible scholars know the real meaning behind this great and terrible moment, yet no one is saying a thing about it…

So pay chose attention because this video will change your life forever for the good!

Ukraine is infested with US/Western dark forces — orchestrating and directing forever war on Russia. (Is US/NATO proxy war on Russia prelude to armageddon?)

An earlier article said the following:

If nations had personhood, the US would be diagnosed as psychopathic, sociopathic, or both, and pure evil.

There’s nothing normal about raping and destroying nations to control them, to loot their resources and exploit their people as serfs — no matter the human toll.

US ruling officials in high places are demagogic, egocentric, cold-hearted, manipulative, ruthless, remorseless, callous, shallow, impulsive, ego-centric, dishonest, deceitful, dangerous, depraved and deranged.

They fit criminal psychology expert Robert Hare’s definition of psychopathological derangement.

They threaten everyone everywhere in pursuit of their rage to dominate by whatever it takes to achieve their aims.

NYU’s Center on International Cooperation’s senior fellow, James Traub said the following:

He took note of what he called “a prominent, pro-American, French” analyst who called hegemon USA “decadent.”

Not only decadent but depraved.

The same reality applies throughout West, especially to Britain, France and Germany.

Where hegemon USA goes, subservient Western vassal states follow — even when harming their interests.

According to Traub, the surest sign of decadence is the transfer of wealth from the vast majority to the privileged few — and the resulting human toll.

He omitted mention of endless US/Western imperial wars by hot and other means against invented enemies.

Nor did he address possible superpower clashes between US/NATO and Sino/Russia.

Or the doomsday threat of possible nuclear war.

Saying decadent societies become “morally and intellectually corrupt,” he added:

“Decadence (and depravity are) irreversible — the last stage before (decline and) collapse.”

A nation nominally led by a know-nothing mumbling, bumbling, stumbling White House imposter is a clear sign of a decadent, depraved society in decline.

The same goes for rubbish signed off on by interventionist Blinken about Russia.

Ignoring its democratic governance — the real thing in stark contrast to US/Western fantasy versions — the State Department turned truth on its head, saying:

Russia “has a highly centralized, authoritarian political system dominated by President Vladimir Putin (sic).”

Its elections are “marked by…interference and manipulation of the electoral process (sic).”

The above claim applies to US/Western regimes, clearly not democratic Russia.

And these bald-faced Big Lies about Russia, falsely claiming:

“Significant human rights issues (sic) include:”

“Extrajudicial killings (sic).”

“Enforced disappearances (sic).”

“Arbitrary arrests and detention (sic).”

“Sexual violence (sic).”

“Severe suppression of freedom of expression and media (sic).”

“Severe suppression of the freedom of peaceful assembly, religious freedom, (and) inability of citizens to change their government peacefully through free and fair elections (sic).”

All of the above and many more human rights abuses apply to the decadent/depraved US/West, not Russia.

Britain is notably cut from the same mold.

Far removed from the real thing, BoJo is a caricature of what leadership should be all about — combined with contempt for peace, stability and the rule of law in cahoots with the worst of hegemon USA’s highest of high crimes.

His arbitrary/forced arrest, imprisonment, slow torture and crucifixion of Julian Assange — at the behest of the US — is one of many examples, with extradition to the empire of lies virtually certain to follow.

What’s true of BoJo — and his predecessors — applies to the regime’s imitation foreign secretary Truss.

An embarrassment to the position she holds, political analyst Timur Fomenko stripped off her mask as follows, saying:

“A fanatical” neocon, she’s addicted to “the fervor of cold (and hot) war(s).”

Her hostile to peace rhetoric “spoil(s) for direct conflict…against…two nuclear superpower(s).”

Her imperial arrogance and contempt for the rule of law are symptomatic of a nation in decline.

With figures like BoJo, Truss and others like them running Britain in cahoots with likeminded US extremists, is global war inevitable ahead?

Has it already begun?

Will thermo-nukes be used to kill us all?

Is around 100,000 years of humanity’s existence nearing an end?

Will humans be the first species ever to destroy itself?

Dangerously delusional, decadent, depraved USA, Britain and other Western regimes risk the unthinkable.

Are they using Russia’s liberating SMO in Ukraine as a pretext for waging WW III?

According to the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, humanity’s survival is at risk.

“(N)ew approaches are needed…transformations in what governance systems value and how systemic risk is understood and addressed.”

“Doing more of the same” is unsustainable.

According to academic Thomas Halliday, without global cooperation over confrontation, mass extinction may follow.

The latter is pursued by US-dominated NATO over the former.

Along with waging proxy war on Russia with Ukrainian foot soldiers, Biden regime war department spokesman Kirby acknowledged what’s been known all along.

Hegemon USA, Britain and other NATO regimes are training — and directing — Ukrainian forces for perpetual proxy war on Russia.

Ukraine is infested with US/Western dark forces — orchestrating and directing forever war on Russia.

Longstanding US policy in pursuit of unchallenged global dominance by whatever it takes to achieve its diabolical aims is self-destructive.

In the age of WMDs and other super-weapons, self-destruction of hegemon USA may destroy planet earth and all its life forms.

Is that where things are heading?

Is US/NATO proxy war on Russia prelude to armageddon?

Are You Prepared For 19th Century Living? (Americans that have only known the post WWII prosperity are ill equipped and educated to deal with depression level living.)

The forces are mounting that will eventually overwhelm most Americans and send their standard of living to unknown depths. Americans that have only known the post WWII prosperity are ill equipped and educated to deal with depression level living. Easy credit and instant gratification have created a nation of whining, self absorbed, entitlement minded people with no moral or mental toughness.

Doug Casey believes we are headed for what he calls a super depression created by the ending of a debt super cycle. The bigger the debt cycle the bigger the depression that follows. That’s how reality works and most people are not prepared for reality.

When this depression, which has already started, gets momentum, it will overwhelm the plans of a society that is expecting to get things like social security, pensions and payouts from retirement plans they have paid into for many years. All of those things will disappear almost overnight and leave society gasping and stupefied over what to do. Their reactions will be to yell and scream and try to identify who to blame but the only person they should blame is the one in the mirror.

Many very smart people have raised the alarm and done their best to warn the sleeping public, but those slumbering masses have ignored the warnings and hit the snooze button one more time. The masses do not understand economics, do not want to understand economics and they will pay dearly for that ignorance in the coming days.

When the real unemployment rate becomes common knowledge as it increases substantially, people will be left to survive on what resources they have saved up outside the banking system that cannot be stolen by the politicians and bankers. That is a key point here. The assets you have outside the system that cannot be stolen from you with a few key strokes on some computer.

Those hoping for some miraculous event that will send the U.S. back to the days of manufacturing might and jobs for all will never see it happen. Those days are gone. The west line theory tells us our economy will slow down and become more modest as the shipping center of the world moves west to the next powerhouse region which is Asia. This is what history teaches us.

When people suddenly wake up one morning and they have no job, their retirement is gone and they need to care for their family, what will they do? When government services have collapsed and they suddenly realize they are now living in a third world country with few government services, what will they do? When the banks are closed and only a select few connected people have any type of money or access to goods, what will they do?

This is the reality that many people will face in the future and they have no idea how bad it can get. They refuse to contemplate the harsh reality they will be living in and take steps to mitigate the effects. To do so would be to acknowledge it could happen and they are taking personal responsibility. Personal responsibility is a dirty phrase in today’s entitlement society. To see some of the effects one only has to look at the collapse of society in Venezuela today to see what awaits.

When it happens it will all fall back to you to take responsibility for your family and take care of them for the duration. To do that you need to plan now for that eventuality and build up the resources you will need to provide food, shelter, clothing and security when the system fails to do it for you. You need to be Noah on his ark not the people watching as he floated away.

Having resources stored up is a must but it may not get you all the way through if the situation lasts for many years. That is why you need some type of plan to replace those resources as time goes by and have some way to generate some type of income or at least items to trade. Usable goods are for the short term and things like gold ,silver and production equipment are for the long term to help you get through the crisis with the least amount of pain.

Even with proper planning the days ahead will not be easy as the standard of living of society will fall substantially to levels only seen in failed third world countries or old pictures. The assets actually owned by people today is very small compared to how they live. They will default on their home loan, their car loan, and their credit card debt leaving them with very few real possessions and few ways to move what they have left even if they have some place to go. Ultimately these people will become the new serfs to the wealthy class that will take possession of anything of value. Feudalism will once again rule.

The lack of planning by society will make this a reality if it is allowed. What will you do when everything you have worked a lifetime for is suddenly taken away? Do you have a plan to keep what you have? Do you have a plan to make money when you cannot find a job? Do you have a way to take care of your family until things stabilize? Do you have a home you will not lose if the whole system breaks down? What will you do if electricity or fuel is too expensive to buy or not available to the general population? These are the questions you should be asking yourself now and you better have a good answer because your family will be asking them when the greater depression sets in.

Lessons from the Roman Army for Post-SHTF Combat Operations- Small unit tactics are more than just a matter of either superior arms or numerical advantages

Alright, we have done a couple of articles on “Knowing Yourself,” and “Knowing Your Enemy.”  Now that everyone knows one another, let’s take it to another level.  As a single individual, as a family member, or operating in a group, after it hits the fan, you will have to fight eventually.  You will not be able to avoid it and hunker down until the cavalry comes, because it will be in your neighborhood and the cavalry isn’t coming to your rescue.

We’ve discussed “Fabian Tactics” in previous articles.  These were based on the exploits of Quintus Fabius Maximus in the First Punic War between Carthage and Rome. “Hit and Run” tactics exemplify their description: strike a numerically superior larger force at a time and place of your choosing, and then break contact.  Fade back into the forest, hide, and avoid further combat until the next engagement of your choice.

Lessons from the Roman Army for Post-SHTF Combat Operations

Let’s “fix” ‘em: set the enemy up and zap ‘em!  Let’s do a few things that the Romans were famous for…using these techniques here and now.

  1. Choose the Ground: Yes, you choose the place you will engage them.  Along with this, you pick the time of day, the formation of the attack, the objective, and the criteria for withdrawal.  You choose it.  As an individual, you would be sniping.  As a group (depending on your numbers and composition), you can engage in operations limited by your size.  Choosing the ground means also to actively recon the enemy and not allow him to choose it and catch you unawares.
  2. Prep the Ground: The Roman Army were masters of this task. They scouted the area and with thorough intel, they knew where their enemies were, actions these people planned on taking, and avenues of approach.  They cut timber and created obstacles of logs interlaced with natural “barbed wire” in the form of thorns and thistles…along with spikes and stakes, to limit enemy cavalry.  Long before William Wallace of “Braveheart” was ever a thought, the Roman legions spread out hay soaked with pitch and oil in areas where enemy foot soldiers would move, and applied flaming arrows when the time was right.  They always took the high ground when possible, and used the natural terrain features (cliffs, rivers, etc.) to form boundaries to help them channel the enemy.
  3. Always Fight with the Sun at your Back: The Romans positioned themselves and attacked to place the sun in the eyes of their enemies. I know, I know: the enemy has “Ray-Bans,” right?  No, it worked for the Viet Cong as well.  When they’re looking into the sun, they’re at a severe disadvantage.  Use the sun.  Use the terrain.  Live with the land and live.
  4. “SPECVLATORES”- the Speculatores…the deep-cover operatives…the Special Forces and Reconnaissance warriors of the Roman Empire. You need operatives in your “unit” with the ability to do “deep penetration” of an enemy’s defenses…whether in their midst unsuspectingly or observing them from a nearby locale…operating on their own ground unbeknownst to them.  You need one or two people who can get the job done…and provide you with the deep-cover intel you’ll need to make decisions.
  5. Alliances – “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Not always so, but you can use such rifts to your advantage…with other groups who your enemy is at odds with.  Here is where diplomacy, teamwork, and political acumen/savvy comes into play.  These “non-combat” skills are just as important to “fixing” your enemy as any of the actual missions you will undertake to defeat him.  Be skilled at making alliances, and do not make them just for the sake of socializing.  It is an art that we will cover more in-depth in future pieces.
  6. Feed Them Disinformation: Yes, the Romans were very adept at sending messages or planting information that was false. This regarded their strengths, their movements, supplies, and reinforcements.  Sun Tzu was not the only one with a knowledge of how to monopolize disinformation, and he wasn’t the first to employ it.
  7. Lure Them and “Stake” ‘Em – the Roman Army would plant different things out in front of an approaching enemy force in order to delay and distract them…making them ripe for an attack or ambush. You can do the same, and make it fall “in line” with the enemy you’ll be facing.  Quick question: How many of you have Russian or Chinese canned delicacies, such as Borscht or caviar for the former, or imported Chinese canned foods and fineries for the latter?  Because you may be able to use it to lure such if they ever come to this country…and set a trap on or in it, or place shooters in an overwatch position overlooking it.  Because you may need prisoners, and what better way to lure them in than with a carton of their own cigarettes, their own liquor that they would think to be safe?      Be advised: SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS FROM THE STORE YOU BOUGHT IT!  This is because in the times to come if anyone ever suspects you of collaborating with them…you can show the receipts that you bought it all long before the conflict began, and give them an explanation of why you bought it all.  This may keep you from being shot by your own countrymen.
  8. The Violence of Action in a Controlled Manner – the Romans did not win their mastery over all of Europe and most of the Middle East by conducting drill and ceremony. They were trained, skilled killers and understood that the thing that made the Empire possible was the discipline and aggression of the individual legionnaire.
  9. A Perfect Chain of Command – Modern militaries all have a chain of command and an order of succession for someone to fill the “vacancy” at all levels when a commander “buys the farm,” so to speak. You need to enable each member of your team to be able to step into the shoes and position of the leader and take charge to continue with the mission.
  10. Discipline: this encompasses all areas. A “guerrilla fighter,” whether fighting off marauders from a neighboring town post SHTF, or a tyrannical, oppressive government, or a foreign invader…the guerrilla needs to be disciplined.  Physical toughness, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP’s), a cool head and iron nerves, and endurance…the ability to keep this up for years…to go the distance.  These are the things that the Romans kept focused upon and central to their legions for many centuries.

In conclusion, small unit tactics are more than just a matter of either superior arms or numerical advantages.  They are based on common sense and knowing how to plan out your objectives, as well as a plan of attack.  You will have to be the “David” going against the Goliath, and although not shirking from battle, picking the time and place of your engagement, and the conditions and standards you will set to achieve those objectives.  It is no guarantee of success, but you are guaranteed to perform better with the proper planning, training, and clarity of purpose prior to a battle.  It can mean the difference between success and failure, life or death.  In this vein, I highly encourage you to study more about the Roman Army and the warfare in ancient times.  Take the time to clean the tarnished pitcher and you may just find a silver piece made by Revere.  The knowledge is there: seek after it and make your future rather than just allowing it to happen to you.

Fibs, fake stats, false reports and freaking great whoppers of the globalist lie factory exposed

I’m featuring the following article from South Africa, September 2021 for several reasons:

The first is that the shortcomings and shenanigans of the South African government’s behaviour over the fake pandemic and the booby-trapped pseudo-vaccines highlighted in the article are uncannily similar to those of the UK government, US government, French government, Russian government and dozens of similar globalist front groups the world over. Anyone would think that the leaders of these various nations don’t have minds of their own and are singing from the same song sheet and/or conducted by the same choir master.

The second is that the criticisms expressed are still germane half a year later in March 2022. Indeed with the long-term vax injuries now starting to make themselves felt and the death toll steadily climbing (to the accompanying increasingly desperate cover ups) the criticisms are more germane and poignant than ever. The basic whopping great lie of “safe and effective” now stands exposed and becomes more exposed by the day.

The third is that the basic message needs to be repeated again and again throughout the global community so that enough people become alert to how were and are being played by those crooks and psychopaths and their servile media lie factory. Then, lessons learned,  just maybe the flourishing, fast expanding  global freedom movement can be better equipped and organised so as to predict and deal with similar attacks on humanity in the future.

The fourth is that the source of this common sense expose of government stupidity and/or outright subversive duplicity is – as is so very very often the case – a highly qualified professional who is sticking his neck out to warn us that, to say the least, our governments and their corporate sponsors are not being honest with us.

The following article covers many aspects of the overall attack on humanity disguised as a “health emergency” including:

The correlation between mass vaccination and Covid-19 spikes

The stupidity of mass vaccination during a pandemic

The deaths that occur during the period of immune suppression that follows vaccination

How the public is being misled

PCR tests and how they contribute to false figures in respect of Covid-19

On the reason that the words vaccine and vaccinated should be placed in inverted commas

On the serious dangers posed by mRNA vaccines

‘Vaccine deaths are being hidden, suppressed and falsely recorded’

Dr Herman Edeling

In August, Dr Herman Edeling wrote an open letter to President Cyril Ramaphosa and the Minister of Health in which he addressed the health and economic crises that we are facing as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. As a neurosurgeon specialising in medico-legal practice, Dr Edeling is particularly qualified to comment on issues and concerns in respect of the Covid-19 vaccines as well as the arbitrary and parochial manner in which the South African government and health authorities have addressed the pandemic.

Drawing on his expertise in medico-legal practice, Dr Edeling states that; ‘ In this global catastrophe, we have people expressing opinions and instructions – relying on their authority to do so, but not relying on reasons. And by not relying on reasons, they are neither relying on facts, nor on science, nor on logic. That is the philosophical crisis that we are in.’ In a fascinating and acutely informative interview with Dr Edeling, elements of the official Covid-19 narrative were discussed – a global narrative put forth by, amongst other institutions, the World Health Organisation and the US’ Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which he believes ‘the South African government has slavishly followed without, it seems, any questioning.’

Of particular interest were Dr Edeling’s insights into the fundamental flaw of mass vaccination during a pandemic and those deaths which occur during the period of immune suppression which follows vaccination – deaths, he says, which are medically vaccine deaths and must be recorded as such. The central core of the open letter is to say to the President; ‘please provide South Africans – citizens, doctors, scientists, everybody – with the truth and allow people to discuss the truth and debate’, and ‘also to stop suppressing people who try to tell the truth – but who are suppressed or censored.’

Less than 24 hours after the interview was live streamed on YouTube, it was removed on the grounds of ‘medical misinformation’ and as a consequence, BizNews has been prohibited from uploading any content on YouTube for one week. A video of the interview can now be viewed on Rumble. For ease of access, documents discussed in the interview have been embedded below the article. – Nadya Swart

Dr Herman Edeling on his background:

I spent 10 years as a general practitioner. After that, as a neurosurgeon. Since 2008, I’ve been restricting my practice to medico-legal neurosurgery and more recently, also to mediation of medico-legal disputes.

On principles that have been abandoned in the Covid-19 pandemic:

In this worldwide response to Covid-19, the principles that have stood the test of time for ages have been abandoned. That is the principles of evidence based medicine, and also principles – which I have experienced and trusted so well over the years – of expert evidence which is given in court that experts are required to provide their reasons in easy to understand language that lay people can understand.

And on the basis of that, courts decide which expert evidence to accept and which not. And in this global catastrophe, we have people expressing opinions and instructions – relying on their authority to do so, but not relying on reasons. And by not relying on reasons, they are neither relying on facts, nor on science, nor on logic. That is the philosophical crisis that we are in.

On the contents of his open letter to President Ramaphosa in August:

The letter is available and I think you do have the link to the online letter. So it is open and available to anybody. Briefly, in the beginning, I sketched the background and the context in which the letter is written. Then I point out a number of elements of the official narrative; that is the narrative put out worldwide by [the] WHO, CDC, governments around the world, and which the South African government has slavishly followed without, it seems, any questioning.

And that narrative is now put out by the South African government and also health authorities such as the Department of Health, the Minister of Health, SAPHRA, the South African Medical Association, etc.. I have listed just eight elements of that narrative in my letter to the President, each one of which is harmful – either by virtue of being false or misleading or irrational.

And then in the next section of the letter, I go on to point out why I say that each one of those eight elements of the narrative is either false or misleading or irrational.

Having pointed that out, I then deal with three examples of double standards that are applied in South Africa by the health authorities and the government. And they are clear double standards, which no responsible authority should engage in. Standards should be uniform and equal. And then, in that background, I asked the President to do certain things. So that is contained in paragraph two of the letter and there are seven things that I ask for.

And every one of those seven things relates in some or other way to provision of relevant factual information, dissemination and sharing of that relevant and factual information, to stop telling lies and tell the truth, and also to stop suppressing people who try to tell the truth – but who are suppressed or censored.

So the whole central core of this letter is to say to the President; please provide South Africans – citizens, doctors, scientists, everybody – with the truth and allow people to discuss the truth and debate.

In that way, according to scientific methods and according to the law, according to rationality and according to our Constitution, South African citizens and doctors and scientists will be able to work out what is the correct and best way to deal with these crises. So I’m simply pleading for information.

On the correlation between mass vaccination and Covid-19 spikes:

In the letter to the minister of Health, there was new information that had come to our disposal, which I view as absolutely crucial information that I think that everybody in South Africa must be aware of. This is an analysis that had been performed by a medical specialist from publicly accessible information online from World Online.

And these two documents show unequivocally in 91 countries around the world [that] in each country, following the rollout of vaccination, [there were] spikes of Covid-19 cases and spikes of Covid-19 deaths. These documents have graphs which come from each of the countries. In each of them the pattern is slightly different, but in each of them you will see; after the commencement of the vaccination rollout, Covid cases went up and deaths went up. Now, in the light of that, to maintain that the vaccine is effective is just patently false.

On mass vaccination during a pandemic:

There are two important things about vaccination that all vaccinologists know, or should know – especially in relation to coronavirus vaccinations, all previous attempts at developing coronavirus vaccines for animals and for humans. There are two important immunological principles that apply.

The one is that after administering the vaccine for a period of 10 days or two weeks or so, there’s a phenomenon of immune suppression. So [if] you get the vaccine today, for the next 10 days to two weeks, your immune system is suppressed, which means you are more susceptible to picking up Covid. And not only Covid, by the way, [you are] susceptible to picking up other conditions as well.

So to allow people to be vaccinated in a time when there’s a pandemic, when they are going to be exposed to the virus, is insane. It has always been known that when you vaccinate for any condition, you vaccinate before exposure – not during exposure. And in this whole worldwide pandemic, all of the vaccination rollouts have been conducted during the pandemic.

And it was predictable on basic principles, and these studies I’m talking about show that. Worldwide, when people get vaccinated, they go through a period of immune suppression. So for a period of two to three weeks, more people die and more people get the virus.

On deaths that occur during the period of immune suppression that follows vaccination:

I do know that the CDC has fraudulently taken a policy that anybody who dies within two weeks of the vaccine will not be recorded as a vaccine-related death, but will be recorded as a Covid-related death. I’ve never seen the rationale nor have I heard the rationale [behind this]. But whatever the rationale is, it is wrong. Because if you are given a substance which suppresses your immunity and during the period of immunosuppression, you contract the disease and you die from the disease – then that vaccine was the precipitating cause of death and it should be recorded as a vaccine death.

The other scenario; maybe you already had Covid, maybe your immune system is dealing with Covid. So you have an infection, you’re dealing with it, you’re not symptomatic – but now you get a vaccine, your immune system is suppressed, and the Covid that you already had in your body can now replicate and make you sick and kill you. In all of those cases, medically, it is a vaccine death.

But the vaccine deaths are falsely being hidden and suppressed and falsely being recorded as Covid-related deaths or other things.

On how the South African public is being misled:

I don’t know exactly what’s happening in South Africa because the South African Health Department and the South African Health Regulatory Authority hide information. They do not provide the public, the media or the medical profession or the public with important information that they should provide. That is exactly the reason for my request in the letter to the President to please give us information that we need.

Now, that information is suppressed. So what they have, what they do with it and how they make their diagnoses, I don’t know. But what I can tell you is at one stage there is in South Africa this voluntary reporting system. So instead of SAHPRA or the Health Department actively tracking and monitoring how many people get sick after vaccines, how many people get hospitalised and how many die – which is what they should do during an experimental process, they should be tracking and publishing those figures, but they’re not. Whether they’re tracking them and keeping it secret, I don’t know. And we’ve asked the President to tell us those things.

But people can voluntarily report side effects or adverse events or deaths. There was one report in the recent time from SAHPRA where they were given reports of 53 people who had died following vaccines. They then went and investigated all fifty three deaths, and they came out with the remarkable conclusion that not one of the fifty three was due to the vaccine.

When I read their reasoning in saying why they were not due to the vaccine – it was clearly scientifically irrational, misleading and false explanations. So what I can say, because I’ve seen this, is that SAHPRA is misleading the public about what it knows about vaccine related deaths.

On PCR tests and how they are contributing to false figures in respect of Covid-19:

We are told every day how many new cases of Covid there are in the country and how many people have been hospitalised and how many people have died from Covid. We know that those figures are based on people who have a positive PCR test. Now, we also know very well that the PCR test gives false positives. So if 10,000 people tested positive, we know that the real number of cases is less than 10,000. But we don’t know how much less, because we don’t know the false positivity rate. And that is one of the things which the health authorities should tell us.

But if they know they’re using a false test that gives false positives, it is wrong to say that is the number of new cases – because it isn’t that number. And when they say that is the number of Covid deaths, that is wrong. It is not that number.

Now, in fact, to diagnose the cause of death is a complicated medical process because it is, first of all, a clinical medical procedure where the clinicians treating the patient go over the medical history, the clinical findings, the results of investigations, and they come to a most probable – on clinical grounds – cause of death.

In cases where it’s not entirely clear, they have to do a postmortem examination and study blood and fluids and look under the microscope and determine on medical scientific grounds the cause of death. In South Africa, we know that postmortems are not done. And it seems that anybody who dies from whatever cause but who had a positive PCR test is labeled as a Covid death.

On the reason that the words vaccine and vaccinated are placed in inverted commas in his open letter:

Because it shouldn’t be called a vaccine. Vaccines have been with humanity for ages. Vaccines are dead or attenuated – attenuated means weakened – organisms or pathogens which are injected into a person or given to a person in the mouth, and to which the body then mounts an immune response. And those vaccines have been proven, they’ve worked for decades, and we understand them well and we know them well.

These so-called vaccines are not that. They are a new scientific development. In the laboratory, they produce messenger RNA sequences which are put together in such a way that when they’re injected into you, they go to the cells of your body, they get incorporated into the cells and they instruct your cells to produce coronavirus spike protein.

So the thing that is injected into you is not the pathogen, it’s a genetic messenger that makes your cells become manufacturers of spike protein. And in that case then, the spike protein is produced in your cells and presented to the body in the blood. That is completely different from the method of a standard vaccine.

On the dangers posed by mRNA vaccines:

So first of all, let’s just talk theoretically. If you get a flu shot, there’s a number of dead or weak flu viruses that are injected into your arm. They stay there. Your body circulates, your immune system recognises them, develops antibodies, develops B cells and T cells to that. They stay there and you develop an immunity. When you catch the flu, it comes into your nose and it is trapped in your nasal mucosa. Your immune system encounters the virus in the nasal mucosa where there are various mechanisms for it to stay for a while while you develop antibodies and you develop B cells and T cells.

We have never in the past had a situation where our immune systems are confronted with a spike protein suddenly appearing in the blood at any and all parts of the body. So, theoretically, because it is such a totally different procedure, it should be properly tested before it is proclaimed to be either effective or safe. The next thing we don’t know is – comparing it again to the flu vaccine – how much of the dead material or the attenuated virus goes into your body.

With these messenger RNA portions telling yourselves to make spike protein; I don’t know – and I don’t think anybody who knows has ever said it – but certainly it is not known how much of the spike it is produced. And [whether] it is the same in all people. Do some people produce so much spike protein and other people produce so much depending on how their cells respond? And nor do we know for how long; does it just make it once – so there’s just one production of spike protein and then it’s the end? Or does it keep on for an hour or a day or for ten days or for two months?

So the amount of spike protein that is generated is uncontrollable, it’s unknown. The duration of time over which it will be generated and also where in your body it will be produced [is also unknown]. So these are such importantly different variables compared to the localised inoculation which is controlled that it is, to me, reckless to use that in humans until you have properly proven in animals that you know what you’re doing and it’s effective and safe.

So those are the reasons why theoretically I would be worried about this vaccination. However, [also] excited, because if it works – it would be an amazing scientific breakthrough that would be good for humanity and could possibly be used in many other things and infection, such as cancer or other diseases. So, it’s a very interesting scientific breakthrough. But the effects of it are not known.

Now, normally vaccines and other new drugs or whatever get tested in animals before it gets tested in humans. What we are told is that in the case of this all previous attempts at developing mRNA vaccinations for coronavirus in animals, not SARS-CoV-2, previous attempts have all failed.

So the animal trials have never succeeded. Also in this – in the Covid-19, SARS-CoV-2 – the animal trials failed. And the reason that we are told by virologists or immunologists why they failed is because of immunosuppression and because of another phenomenon called antibody dependent enhancement.

The 8 Warning Signs Before a Russian Nuclear Strike

As the Russian invasion of Ukraine rages on, the president of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has been threatening the rest of the world.

The basic threat is that if we don’t stand back and let him do what he wants, he’s going to go nuclear. Whether that means an all-out nuclear war of tactical nukes targeted at whichever country raises his ire at that particular moment.

Either way, one tactical nuke could easily lead to an all-out nuclear war, especially if it exploded in a member country of the NATO alliance.

NATO was created to protect western Europe from invasion by the former Soviet Union. While that political body no longer exists, the Russian Federation is its successor.

Vladimir Putin

Putin, who was part of the KGB, dreams of a return to the glory days of the defunct empire, and his attack on Ukraine seems to be a step in his campaign to make that happen.

Unfortunately for Ukraine, they aren’t a part of NATO; but several of the countries sending them military aid are.

Should Putin decide that such aid is crossing the line of what neutral countries are allowed to do during war, his response could very well be to attack the offending country with a nuke.

According to the mutual defense clause of the NATO treaty, that attack would require a military response from every member of NATO, including the United States.

That line may have already been crossed, with countries sending military hardware to Ukraine.

Worse than that, Jen Psaki, the White House spokesperson, publicly told reporters that the United States was providing intelligence information to Ukraine, something that is considered casus belli, a cause for war, as it constitutes taking sides as a party to the hostilities.

While most Americans support Ukraine in this war, the fact that we are taking sides by providing intelligence information to Ukraine is something that should have been kept secret.

The question which faces us now is whether Putin will push the button. The only thing stopping him is fear of retaliation. That fear may not be all that much, if he thinks that President Biden won’t retaliate.

So, what should we be watching for, to know when Putin is getting ready to push the button?

Signs That Have Already Happened

Allow me to start out with a few very real signs that have already happened.

While these are not as serious as the ones to follow, there is a progression in this process. The fact that these have already happened just means that we are already on the road towards that button being pushed.

Threats of the Use of Nukes

The 8 Warning Signs Before a Russian Nuclear Strike

All of this started out with Putin making some rather clear threats about his willingness to use nuclear arms in the current conflict.

Those threats have continued; some openly, while others have been references that were a bit more obscure.

Either way, the message has gotten through and world leaders are taking it seriously.

Putin Going into Hiding

It’s normal for political leaders to go into hiding during a war, as they are prime targets; but if anything, that is even more likely when they are getting ready to launch a nuclear missile strike.

As best we know, Putin isn’t suicidal; so even though he is willing to gamble with the life of his country, he apparently isn’t willing to gamble with his own life or the lives of his family. He has gone into hiding.

There are apparently those who are looking for Putin, either to deal with him as snipers do or to take him prisoner as a war criminal.

One Russian oligarch has offered a million-dollar reward to anyone in the Russian military who takes Putin prisoner, claiming that it is their responsibility to do so.

Raising of the Readiness Level of Russian Missile Forces

About a week ago, Putin raised the level of readiness for Russian nuclear forces, either as an act of brinksmanship or in preparation for using them.

In either case, it means that those forces can launch much faster than they could if they were still at peacetime levels of readiness.

While they are not at their highest possible level, with a finger poised over the button, they’re close.

A Demonstration Attack

The 8 Warning Signs Before a Russian Nuclear Strike

The artillery attack on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, can be seen to be an escalation of hostilities, with nuclear overtones.

There is no way that the plant was targeted accidentally, not in today’s world of computerized weapons and satellite position locating. While Russia doesn’t use the GPS satellite system, they have their own.

I don’t believe in coincidences, so it seems very suspicious that the only reactor that they fired upon, the one that caught fire, was down for maintenance. That indicates some rather current and accurate intelligence information.

Chances of it blowing up were minimal and if an artillery round went long and hit one of the other reactors, they could have claimed it an “accident.”

Signs that are Yet to Come

So far, the signs that we’re seeing don’t indicate that Putin’s finger is poised over the button; but it looks like he’s keeping it near.

Whether or not he decides to push it will depend on his reading of the situation, nothing else. It doesn’t matter so much what the other countries of the world do at this point, as how he interprets their actions.

He has started this war and he’s got to come out of it with some gain or he will lose face, something that he can’t afford and his ego won’t allow.

Raising the Rocket Forces to their Maximum Readiness Level

The 8 Warning Signs Before a Russian Nuclear Strike

While Russian nuclear forces are at a heightened alert and readiness level, they are not yet at their highest possible level.

There is still some room for it to go up, something that Putin will want to do, before giving the order to launch. Russia still has a number of liquid-fueled ICBMs.

The fuel used in these rockets is highly corrosive, so it is not stored in the rockets, but rather in nearby tanks. It takes some time to fuel those rockets, once the order is given.

Raising the alert level to the maximum level will also mean fueling those rockets so that they are ready to fly.

If Putin gave the order before fueling them, the attack would be either delayed or carried out in a haphazard manner. Hence the importance of fueling them beforehand.

Putin Cutting Off Communication with Foreign Governments

Anyone who has watched a western knows that there’s a time when the gunmen stop talking and just stare at each other, waiting for the other guy to draw.

While that’s Hollywood’s rendition of things, it is based upon the reality that there is usually a pause before an attack.

When Putin reaches the point where he’s seriously contemplating a nuclear attack, he will stop accepting calls from other heads of government.

On one hand, he won’t want to give away his planned actions and on the other hand, he won’t want to give them the chance to talk him out of it.

There’s also a chance that Putin will break off formal communications with some governments, closing embassies and recalling his ambassadors before attacking.

That’s probably unlikely, as it would telegraph his intentions too well; but if it does happen, we can be sure that his finger is poised above the button and he’s about to press it.

Moving Other Government Leaders Out of Moscow

The 8 Warning Signs Before a Russian Nuclear Strike

It’s fairly clear that Putin and his family are out of Moscow in some secret location. Rumor has it that he has a private bunker complex somewhere in the mountainous Altai Republic.

But at the moment the rest of the Russian government is in place and operating.

But the Russians, like our own government, have plans for moving their political leadership out of Moscow in the event of nuclear war.

Putin is likely to make that move, protecting his own government, before ordering the launch.

Moving Russian Troops Out of Harm’s Way

Finally, the last move that Putin will probably make, before launching a nuclear strike, is to move his own forces out of the danger zone.

That would include grounding aircraft, having ships move farther out to sea, and having troops disengage if they are too close to the projected epicenter of the explosion.

It is unlikely that all his troops will be moved, as he still has a conventional war going on; only those who are close enough to the targeted cities will be moved, in order to protect those troops.

That may look like a retreat, but it will be more like the quarterback dropping back before he throws the ball. Those troops will be regrouping, rearming, and preparing to go back on the offensive, as soon as the nuclear part of the attack is over.

Civil War Preparedness: 4 Choices You Must Make

Just a few years ago, the mere concept of a Civil War 2.0 seemed like a fantasy. But now, as tensions have risen and the country has become more unstable, the possibility of a civil war is on a lot of people’s minds.

As a result, we can no longer just prepare ourselves for the possibility of a natural disaster or an economic catastrophe. We have to prepare for the possibility of a civil war as wel. Would you be prepared if fighting were to erupt in your city?

1. Prepare To Hunker Down

Always be prepared to hunker down for an extended period of time. If the power, internet, and police services went down, would you be prepared to sustain yourself? Power plants in particular would likely be targeted by violent groups looking to escalate the unrest.

Do you have enough food, water, medicine, ammunition, and other supplies to last you for not just a few months but possibly for a few years? Do you have alternative sources of energy? A water purification system? A radio to obtain your news under the assumption that the internet and television won’t be available?

Keep in mind that even after the fighting is over, things might not return to normal for years. Be sure to forge alliances with your neighbors so you can exchange resources and help one another in need. Even neighbors with differing political views can still unite under a common cause of keeping one another safe.

2. Prepare To Bug Out

Even though hunkering down will probably be the safest choice for you, be ready to get out of dodge if necessary. After all, the fighting could come to you, and in this case, the safest option is to have a plan to bug out.

To bug out, you need to have a specific destination in mind that you can bug out to and that you believe will be safe. A destination in a secured zone and with family members or friends is ideal. Have a minimum of three routes for getting to this destination, and try to stay ahead of everyone else.

If there’s a mandatory evacuation order, for example, you should ideally evacuate before everyone else does in order to avoid heavy traffic conditions (and where you’ll be more vulnerable to raiders and looters as well).

3. Fight Outright or Undercover

While it may not be your best option, you always have the option to fight on one side, either outright or covertly. After all, you may feel that you cannot stand idly on the sidelines and that your cause is worth dying for.

But everything changes in war, and the fight for a perceived best cause can become very murky at best. To really understand war, you need to talk to its victims and particularly its civilian population who suffered through it.

4. Caught Up In The Storm

Whether you stay in place or flee to safety or choose to fight, you may have no choice in regards to what happens to you. If you stay where you are and hunker down, the fight may come to you. If you flee to a safe area, that area may not stay safe for long (or you may have to fight along the way).

Therefore, be prepared to get caught up in the storm no matter what. Invest in body armor, always carry a sidearm (concealed preferably so you don’t make yourself a target), and have sandbags ready to go so you can fortify your home if need be.

How to Rebuild a European Nation Decimated by Cultural Marxist Policies

Too often what passes for dissident politics is nostalgia and sentimentalism. Many movements are backward-looking and therefore self-refuting; we can’t return to the 1950s (or whatever is your preferred era) and, even if we could, we would end up back where we are today.

Therefore, it is refreshing when political movements offer forward-looking visions. One such vision is offered by the Foundation for the Continuity of European Nations (Fondation pour la continuité des peuples européens), a coalition of French engineers, scientists, and lawyers. This group has an attractive website whose URL means “Science and Remigration.” It has also developed projects such as STEM tutoring for young Europeans and an online archive of the European artistic heritage.

Last September, the foundation published a political program to foster European scientific progress and ensure our nations’ perpetuity. It is a positive vision for a restored France within a broader European civilization characterized by technological prowess. The images evoke the freshness and creativity of Europeans, the achievements of France’s industrial past, and contemporary European technological achievements.

The Foundation’s project has three pillars:

  1. Repatriation of non-Europeans.
  2. A natalist policy for middle- and upper-class working couples.
  3. Promotion of science, reindustrialization, and European mega-projects.

The authors emphasize that Western decline is both moral and demographic:

The West is in crisis. Bit by bit, it has been shriveling up, horrified by its past, crushed by the excessive weight of a world which it has borne on its shoulders for too long. . . .

[Europeans’] depression and replacement in their own countries is an unmatched catastrophe in world history. . . .

Europeans have fallen behind because of their general demoralization. For decades, our leaders have told us that we did not have the right to a future . . . .

Westerners are demoralized, even though Western civilization “is nothing less than that on which the modern world is built” and has contributed the vast majority of the scientific breakthroughs and inventions. The foundation wants to restore Europeans’ pride in their heritage and optimism for the future.

“Legal, just, and peaceful remigration”

The Foundation emphasizes that “[t]he good functioning of French institutions requires the restoration, insofar as possible, of the French territory’s ethnic homogeneity.” The lack of a common identity makes for contentious redistributionist politics and the breakdown of civic life. (ER: Alas, this is true and evident.) European heritage must not be watered down or shamed in a vain attempt to placate resentful, unassimilable outsiders.

The authors argue that “demographic and economic rationality implies a gentle remigration taking place over time, coupled with natalist policies making life easier for working couples, with an objective of breaking the ‘second-child ceiling.’” They avoid apocalyptic scenarios and instead offer measures that could be taken by a patriotic French government. Third-world migratory flows are to be reversed “through legal, just, and peaceful means.” In particular:

  • French citizenship would be withdrawn from criminal dual nationals (French citizens of North-African and Turkish descent typically retain their original nationality by default).
  • A monthly stipend of €450 for 10 years would be paid to non-Europeans if they returned to their homelands and gave up French citizenship.
  • A point system would cut welfare payments to households that include criminals.
  • Advertising campaigns in African and Middle-Eastern countries would dissuade would-be immigrants.
  • Subsidized tuition for foreign students (300,000 per year at a cost of €3 billion annually) would be ended.

The authors write: “[T]he major issue at stake is not immigration but remigration.” They also note that expanding the prison system – whose population has doubled since the 1980s – is not a solution; the problem must be tackled through repatriation.

“Breaking the third-child ceiling” for French couples

The Foundation proposes measures to boost French fertility, especially among the middle and upper classes:

“Restoration of European fertility is an absolute priority in order to stabilize European countries and guarantee their continuity. The future belongs to those countries who will be able to reverse the fall in fertility.”

The program meets the needs of working women rather than keep them at home. It would include teleworking, childcare near workplaces, and support for mothers seeking to re-enter the workforce. Following the Hungarian model, income tax would be reduced by 25 percent for families with four or more children.

The authors are willing to countenance alternative family models: They would offer assisted reproductive to single women, lesbians, and women over 35.

Fostering European science through mega-projects

The Foundation proposes ways to boost France’s scientific potential, and stop the brain drain: unabashed educational elitism, subsidies for innovative researchers, strong intellectual property protection, and financial incentives for researchers to file patents and publish research. The government’s “social equality and inclusiveness” criteria for research funding would end.

The authors put French scientific efforts in a broader European context, and emphasize that European immigrants can contribute to France’s recovery: “We are not against the idea of immigration, but we make a fundamental distinction between two very different immigration flows: African immigration and European immigration.”

They do not suggest withdrawing from the European Union and want to “weave a European destiny, cultivate [economic] liberalism, and maintain an open world with developed countries.” Automation in transportation, urban deliveries, assembly lines, warehouse management, and old-age assistance would help Europe manage demographic aging.

The authors believe European scientific mega-projects can inspire our people: “Great projects are vital to give European nations a goal, a destiny, and accomplishments that make them proud of their identity. They are what can guarantee the cohesion and inner fire necessary for our well-being.” A quadrennial Festival of European Sciences would celebrate innovators and scientists.

The authors would build on previous European projects, often undertaken outside the EU framework, such as Airbus, the Ariane rocket system, the European Space Agency, the Galileo satellite navigation system, and the Virgo experiment. New European projects and agencies, not linked to the EU, would study nuclear fusion and thorium fission, aerospace, quantum computing, AI and robotics, transport, and genetic medicine. They would ensure Europe’s energy independence and help it catch up with China and the United States.

A techno-optimistic vision for an identitarian Europe

One can certainly debate this or that point in the Science & Remigration program, but I praise its futuristic vision for France. The program’s biological realism and Promethean ambition remind us of visionaries of the past century, men such as Alexis Carrel and Charles Lindbergh.

All French politics should be grounded in ethnic and biological reality, an appreciation of French identity, and an understanding of economic and technological prowess as the basis of national power.

The Foundation has shared its political program with the French presidential candidates and will expand political activities. It is just one of the French identitarian groups that have emerged in recent years, along with Renaud Camus’ National Council for European Resistance, the Institut Iliade think-tank, and Daniel Conversano’s mutual support group Les Braves. These groups are part of an emerging identitarian subculture that is beginning to dominate French nationalism and which may, indeed, dominate French politics.

The Great Depression Was One Of The Most Traumatic Events In American History: 50 Tips From The Great Depression

The Great Depression was one of the most traumatic events in American history. Following the stock market crash of October 1929, industrial production crashed, construction shrank to a fraction of what it had been and millions of people found themselves on short hours or without work. Until the economy picked up again in 1935 life was a real struggle for the average American.

To get through the economic collapse and the grinding poverty that followed it, people had to adapt and learn new skills – or re-learn old ones. For that reason, many people who lived through it looked back with a sense of, maybe not exactly nostalgia, but pride in how they managed to cope.

A lot of the things people did during the Great Depression still make a lot of sense today. With our own economy looking vulnerable, and the risk of a new collapse always lurking just around the corner, would we cope as well as our grandparents and great-grandparents did? Here are some of the ways they took care of themselves and those around them through some of the hardest times the USA has ever seen.

Work

  1. Entire families moved in search of work. By staying together, they could support each other while not missing employment opportunities.
  2. Migrant farm work was a life-saver for many. Different crops needed harvesting at different times, so it was – and still is – possible to find several months’ work.
  3. People were willing to try any job. They didn’t ask “Do you have any work for a…?” But, “Do you have any work?” They were flexible because they had to be.
  4. Everyone in a family was prepared to earn money. Kids could make a valuable contribution too. Families worked for a common goal – earning enough to survive.
  5. great depression1Almost anything had some value. Driftwood collected from the beach could be split and sold as firewood. Most any kind of metal can be collected and sold as scrap.
  6. Government “New Deal” employment programs provided jobs and taught skills. They also created a lot of new infrastructure, including many roads – and the Hoover Dam.
  7. There was no such thing as retirement age. Anyone who could work did When money is tight, everyone needs to contribute whatever they can earn.
  8. A lot of jobs became part-time as employers tried to save money. Many people worked several part-time jobs, often putting in very long days.
  9. Many of the jobless spent all day going round employers, looking for any work they could find. Even an hour or two’s labor would make a difference.
  10. People created jobs for themselves. Some women would wake early to cook dozens of meals, then sell them outside factories and construction sites.
  11. Flexibility helped. Someone who knew a little about several trades had a better chance of finding work than someone who was an expert at one.
  12. Farmers would take on workers they didn’t have the money to hire, and pay them in produce instead.

Housing

  1. Many people lost their homes. Often, extended families – grandparents, aunts, uncles – ended up living in one house.
  2. Others were forced to live in their car or truck, buying cheap meals and washing at public gyms or swimming pools.
  3. homseThe homeless often lived in tents – or shack or lean-tos they’d built themselves. Having a place to live, even a basic one, was better than sleeping rough.
  4. To save energy, walls were insulated with anything that would help keep heat in through the winter – mud, newspapers or tar paper. It all helped cut fuel costs.
  5. Homes were kept cooler than normal. Wearing more clothes indoors reduced the need to burn fuel, and that left more money for food.
  6. In summer people hung wet sheets over doorways and windows. As the water evaporated it drew in heat from the air, cooling the home slightly.
  7. Refinancing a home was one way to keep up the payments – and it could also free up cash for living expenses.

Money

  1. moneyLife insurance policies were a safety net for those who had them. If money ran out the policy could be cashed in, helping keep the family afloat for a few more months.
  2. Many people rarely saw cash; barter economies quickly grew up. Small jobs might be paid with milk, fresh vegetables or fruit, especially in rural areas.
  3. With millions out of work, begging was common – and seen as desperation, not antisocial behavior. Outside restaurant was a favorite spot; only the rich could afford to eat there.
  4. People respected banks back then, but when banks started closing the trust soon faded. Nobody knew when their own might shut, so the wise kept cash at home.
  5. Many stores gave credit and let regular payments slide. They just kept track of what was owed and hoped it would be paid someday. Many stores went bankrupt because of this.

Food

  1. Having a vegetable plot made a huge difference. In 1929, 20% of Americans still lived on farms; most of the rest had big gardens, and the skills to grow their own food.
  2. Hunting and fishing were major sources of protein. Meat was expensive, but if you could harvest your own you had a better diet. Surplus was great for barter, too.
  3. Foraging was also popular. Nuts, berries, and wild greens helped put meals on the table, and kids and older people could forage as well as anyone.
  4. In the country, canning was an essential skill. A well-stocked pantry was both a source of pride and a life-saving reserve for the winter.
  5. foodPeople learned that you can eat almost anything if you’re hungry enough. Tumbleweed was used as fodder for cattle; then people found it could be eaten. Young plants are best.
  6. No part of an animal was wasted. Offal was fried, boiled or turned into ground meat. Even chicken feet could be boiled to add some taste to a broth.
  7. A little bit of bacon would add flavor to almost anything. The hard rinds or dry ends of a piece of bacon could be boiled – and butchers sold them for pennies.
  8. Communities divided vacant lots and parks into family vegetable plots. Housewives and kids spent much of their time growing extra food.
  9. To keep some variety in their diets, people traded the produce they grew with friends and neighbors.
  10. Meals were cooked from scratch – there were hardly any prepared foods in the shops. Recipes were usually simpler than today’s. That mean they were cheaper to make.
  11. Stores closed on Sundays, so fresh produce that would go bad by Monday would be sold off cheap late on Saturday. Shopping at that time was great for bargains.
  12. Livestock was a great asset. If you had a cow or even a few chickens, you were sitting on a wealth creator. Milk and eggs helped your own diet, and could be bartered.
  13. Meat and dairy products were expensive; bread, potatoes, and noodles were cheap and filling. People bulked out meals with carbohydrates. Lard or bacon fat added flavor.
  14. Soup was a popular meal. It filled you up, and the main ingredient was water. Almost anything could be made into soup – beans, potatoes, even stale bread.

Clothes

  1. Shoes were mended over and over. Holes in the sole were patched with leather from scrap belts or purses. Complete soles were cut from old tires.
  2. Dustbowl MasksPeople learned to make and repair clothes. Any fabric could be used. Rural families made clothes from feed sacks. One woman turned a casket’s fabric lining into kids’ dresses.
  3. Fashion was canceled. People preferred to get more use out their old clothes and spend their money on food.
  4. When kids outgrew their clothes they were handed down to younger siblings or given to people who could use them.
  5. Really old clothes were cut up for rags to get some more use out of them. Why spend money on dusters and cleaning cloths when rags worked just as well?

Society and Attitudes

  1. Nobody felt entitled to be supported. People knew that they had to work as hard as they could to survive; if they didn’t, they could expect nothing.
  2. On the other hand, people were willing to help those who were trying but struggling. They knew they could be the ones needing help next, so most gave all they could spare.
  3. kids for sellCommunities became closer, giving mutual support and organizing donations of food or cash to those who needed them the most.
  4. Many towns set up welfare loan schemes. Money could be loaned to people who needed it, but it was expected to be paid back. Detailed records were kept of what was owed.
  5. Willingness to work hard, and to do what you could to support the community, was more highly valued than individualism and independence.
  6. People learned to keep a positive outlook on life. They learned that they could lose a surprising amount – almost everything – and keep going.
  7. Positivity was essential. There was no point complaining how bad things were – they were just as bad for almost everyone. What mattered was trying to make them better.
